ks_racer420 is on a distinguished road
I was a frequent marijuana smoker and my short-term memory deteriated a lot because I was always smoking. But recently I cut back on smoking so much due to a career change and it doesn't seem to affect my memory nearly as much. Smoking keeps me calm and I don't have confrontations with people nearly as much. I will say that when I first started smoking I had to drive my girlfriend home and I was still under the influence....it was like a video game. I had to pay extra close attention to the road. It was very difficult. But now I can smoke and drive easily without any problems. Before I started smoking I suffered from depression because I lost someone really close to me. When I started smoking the pain started going away. So it's helped me a lot. Now I only smoke on weekends and days off and I'm doing great. I believe one of the reasons why marijuana is illegal in the U.S. is because tobacco companies and corrupt government paid off by tobacco companies to get everyone focused on marijuana and keep it off them. And on another note I've tried other drugs and I didn't like them...it's totally different from marijuana. I know people that have never even smoked marijuana but do other drugs. Marijuana is just a government scapegoat for other drugs (ie- alcohol and tobacco).
