Don't know if it's been mentioned, but "Maggot Brain" by Funkadelic. It's hands-down the best guitar solo I've ever heard in my life. Like There's A Riot Goin' On, it's just a good drugged-up funk. It's 10 minutes long, just goes on forever.

Another I like to listen to is the Orb, "A Huge Ever-Growing Pulsating Brain That Rules From The Centre Of The Ultraworld". It's also pretty long, almost 19 minutes long, but completely worth it.

Having grown up in the 80's punk scene i have a different appreciation for bands than alot here, but some bands transcend the genre and are great smoke music.

Shellac, Steve Albini's newest band, his vocals ain't the best but listen to the chord structures, definately discordent and has the classic Chicago bass sound.

Flipper, while not a big fan of Curt Cobain he was quoted as saying the only two bands that mattered were Flipper and the Jesus Lizard, smart man. Not easy listening but unique fun and blare Sex Bomb Baby is nice when your neighbors blare Christmas music during that time of year (though GG Allin is better for music "wars").

The Epoxies are a female fronted new take on classic new-wave, great stuff, much lighter than he first two, fun music. And Roxy is a hell of a dancer...

Mustard Plug, very underappreciated ska band, if ya like ska you'd like them (well probably...)

MC Chris, being anti-rap this has to be said, MC Chris is the man, white 30-something singing about white 30 something topic, Star Wars, D&D,Trippin on Robitussin, weed...humor not gansta stuff.

Mighty Mighty Bosstones, so good, ska-punk and maybe the best of the genre.

Mad Caddies, so diverse, some say a Sublime wanna be, but too musically diverse and talented to be labeled that. Worth a listen in your a sublime fan.

I could go on and on, maybe another day. If you hand out on YouTube search for my playlist "mood music for the insane" and most of those bands are on the playlist...

Smoke time now...what to listen too...

I like to listen to everything stoned, it all just sounds so good. But, there are a few songs that really enhance the buzz for me. I like music that has strange little sounds in the background that when your stoned your not sure if you actually heard them or not.

"Nine Inch Nails - The Great Below" is a good example of what I'm talking about.

"Nine Inch Nails - The Beauty of Being Numb" really fucks with my mind when I'm high.

"Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral" (song, not the album) is another mind fuck song.

Then, theres the regular music that I like stoned that makes me feel all happy like
Tangerine Sky by Kottonmouth Kings
and
Smoking buddah by Krazyie Bone

Ben Scales - Growing Marijuana in my Yard is a fun song.
