Guys & Gals, help me out here. I have heard interesting things about various festivals and the like in Seattle and the Pacific Northwest. If any of y'all have been to anything in that area, please share your story. Even one liners like "It was a blast, I got so wasted" or "It sucked, stay away".
I'm getting the itch to go somewhere, just not sure where yet. Thinking U. S. of A. this time around. Any replies welcomed. Hestia

Hey, I loved your amsterdam adventure posts made me so "green" with envy. I lived in seattle for 2 years back in the mid 90's and loved it, went to 2 hempfests and many drum circles at gasworks park and seattle center, also something called "peace concerts" on sundays they happened every weekend through the summer back then. "Bumbershoot" is a great music festival at seattle center, happens every summer. there is also "a taste of seattle" a food fest also at seattle center in the summer. Great city and lots of fun year round, but then agian I haven't been around there in 10+ years. I bet it is pretty much the same though. If you go there is also a really good flea market in freemont on sundays a suburb of seattle and you must go see the freemont troll under the freemont bridge a fun place to smoke one. plus a huge cool park up by the zoo surounding a lake, god I could go on and on let me know if you need more reasons to head up there.. oh not to mention "the Ave." at the UW campus more head shops than one could need...

I went there a few years ago with my against-drugs-of-any-kind father, so no smoking for me. but i still had a good time. they have some really good food out there. The fish market and the restaurants are off the chain. went sight seeing and went to the space needle (i think its called). nice stuff. walked around downtown -they got a lot of shops and stuff. a friend of mine lives there now and says the weed is really great, ive seen pictures and i dont doubt her one bit.
I hope you have fun. I loved your amsterdam trip journal...when you go keep us posted. you made me feel like i was there- which i will be next year,
