In my opinion, use glass. I can't say definately that metal is safe.

I wouldn't mind using a glass bowl but I lives in a small community and t\we have no headshops and I can't blow glass so I gotta improvise but I heard brass was safe because the heat from a lighter is not enough to melt it to make any fumes.

if its solid brass you should be okay but if your building a makeshift pipe use an apple. or get the glass. much mo betta. if its brass over something it might sweat like chrome does or something. metals are weird
