Right, so I have 1/2 oz of some nice bud, and me and my friends are (willingly) to try it out in some canna-cakes.
I have the recipe down, but EVERY tutorial I've looked at talks about using trim and mids. What kind of ratio am I looking at for BUD:BUTTER? I read somewhere it should be 1/4 oz of bud per 1lb of butter? Lastly, with cooking times, we're using our grinder (pretty good one) to get the bud really fine, but how long are we looking to cook it for? Would 2-3 hours be enough? From my own logic I just think that because the other tutorials use trim/leaves etc (low THC content) they have to cook it far longer to extract? Whereas proper bud would be packed and hence require less cooking time in order to get MOST of the THC out? If anyone could give me a hand I'll love you, we're doing it tommorow and these are the last two questions! |

1/4 oz bud to one stick (1/4 lb) butter. Cook time 3-5 hours. Cool in fridge, not freezer.
