Please help critique my brownie process

I have been gathering information from this site and others on how to make weed brownies and before I attempt to make my first batch ever I would like you experts to critique it because I don't feel like wasting my weed.

-melt 1 stick of butter on low heat in a frying pan
-grind up my weed and place in melted butter on med-low heat where butter is just simmering not boiling
-stir it around every 5 minutes and let this process go for about 45 mins
-Let it cool
-Strain weed/butter mix through a coffee filter
-Mix together in a bowl unsweeted chocolate, heavy cream, and eggs (what my recipe calls for)
-then add the weed/butter to this mix and stir around
-place mixture into a pan and bake at 325 degrees for about 14 minutes

Does this sound right? Thanks in advance guys.

by the way I will be using 4 grams of weed for to make 8 brownies for 4 people. So each person gets 1 gram, but has the option to eat .5 grams first and assess tolerance.
