what to make with trimmings?

I have a lot of trimmings from a few plants that were harvested. Whats the cheapest and easiest way to make some form of food/butter/oil with these trimmings?

When doing anything with all these leaf trimmings, do i wait for the trimmings to dry out and grind them up or grind them up while they are freshly green and moist still?

Im mainly looking for the cheapest route here, if its easy to do thats a plus! Thanks
