why do my firecrackers only give me a body high?

I made them with Bubba Cush, which is a Indica, is that why im not getting the mind high that i want?

Generally when you eat cannafoods usually it results in most cases a body high,sometimes slight mind high, i would suggest maybe eating some and toking up a few hits on a bong if thats a option, I do know that when you smoke after eating some goodies you get EXTRA ripped,

Eat hash and you'll get your head high.

It could also be that you're heating them up too much and vaporizing the THC and leaving only the CBDs

Well, Indicas generally give a body high anyway, so you'd get a body high regardless.

There's a big difference in the high between edibles and smoke. Edibles give you a definite couch lock effect.
