420 Magazine Staff & Website Updates!

So much has happened in the last couple of weeks, where do we start?

New Staff:
First, we'd like to welcome JohnnyPotSmoker and Jimbo to our staff. Johnny is working to fill up the 420 Magazine Events Calendar and is also helping out as a News Hawk. Jimbo is moderating the 420 Lounge and the new 420 Action Forum. We are pleased to have these two devoted members on our staff.

Grow Room:
Boss is taking a short break because he is currently in the middle of moving. As soon as he finishes setting up his new grow room , he'll be back with us. Racefan has stepped down due to health issues. We wish him a full and a speedy recovery.

Because of these absences, we are seeking additional help as Grow Support. Although we appreciate those who have stepped forward to offer their help, we continue to look for established members with a substantial posting history and proven grow experience.

New Server:
Approximately three months ago, we initiated move to a new server. We are nearly finished with this and hope you are enjoying the site improvements.

Phishing Attack - No More HTML Posting (420 TV):
Unfortunately, one of our members was phished last week. This happens when someone embeds a hidden code in an html link. A new window pops up prompting you to enter your username and password again. Unfortunately, this is common occurrence on large community websites like ours--we just never thought it would actually happen here.

Please be sure to NEVER enter your login information again, unless you are 420% certain that the requester is in fact, 420Magazine.com. You can usually tell by looking at the web address in the top of your browser. If it doesn’t say 420magazine.com, please report it to us at once. Thankfully there was no harm done, but it reminds us of the potential security risks that could happen if not handled properly.

New Additions to Company Policy:
We now allow discussions of prescription drugs as long as they pertain ONLY to comparing them to Cannabis for Medicine. Recreational/street-drug talk will not be allowed.

We have added the following areas to the website:

2. VOTE HEMP - 420 Magazine
3. LEGAL DISCUSSIONS - 420 Magazine
