These large scale grows piss me off. They destroy the land, pollute the water, and is of absolutely no value to the community.
The mexican cartels move in and plant these huge crops. When they are busted, that's all you hear about. It gives the uninformed an idea that everyone makes a buttload of money with their huge crops. We all know it isn't so.It doesn't seem to benefit our cause at all. They destroy the land and take their crop and their money and leave. I really don't know the answer, but these kinds of grows are not our friends. Let's leave it to the little guy to grow his own, and share with his friends. This is the one that pays taxes and puts their money back into the community. If there is legalization, there won't be a really good reason for the cartel to hang around. It's only my opinion, but that's the way I see it. Peace

Wow!! that means by my calculations 100,000 plants / 20 officers / 4days / 8 hours = 156 plants pulled an hour per officer or 12 hour days = 104 hour per officer.
Thats some serious numbers!

I agree that it hurts the smaller people. But like anything pot is a business, not legal. People see it as so and they will make it as so. I agree these hurt our cause, but i also think these make police feel stupid. We all know for everybody that gets caught there are a fuck ton more that have not been caught. Maybe this isn't even shit for this gang...I just think that with the recession hitting more people day by day that we will soon see more violence within gangs and people who are trying to make money off of people who are depressed. Not that this will all be over bud, but once there is a certain amount of money people are always going to want protection so they do not get robbed...
