Herbal Air Vaporizer Vs. Volcano
So both have temperature dials and fill bags,... anyone know is there is any major difference in performance?I figure there should be some reason the herbal air is about half the cost...

Re: Herbal Air Vaporizer Vs. Volcano
I've been using the herbalAire for over a year and like it a lot. I've never owned a Volcano but have sampled a bag. They're both very efficient. The Volcano will fill the same size bag quicker, but that's not a big deal to me. The herbalAire doesn't have a valve on the bag, but once you've taken a hit or two you can set the bag down without losing much vapor at all, and making and using multiple bags is easier and cheaper. Volcano warranty is longer and they're probably the most stable vape company of all, if that's a factor for you. herbalAire has great customer service, so I'm happy in that respect. herbalAire has a separate pump, so you've got more cords and stuff to deal with, but OTOH if the pump fails down the road, just substitute an inexpensive aquarium pump and you're back in business. The herbalAire can also do direct draw, so that's a bonus. It heats up fast so if you want to crank it up and get a quick hit, it's hard to beat. It also has auto shut-off, so if you forget to turn it off-no problem.

Re: Herbal Air Vaporizer Vs. Volcano
I'd have to say the HerbalAire would be my second choice, next to the cano, of course. I've never used either, just a box vaporizer but I hope to have either of them one day. I just think the price of those things is pretty crazy... $500! Uh no i'll just smoke it outta me bong till then. I'm sure the price will drop on the old models b/c of the new digital volcano.

I well remember buying my first vape. I was in sticker shock and it was only 80 bucks. ![]() $500 is too much for me too. That's why I bought the herbalAire at half the price. And you can get the 'cano now for $395 from vapedaddy.com. That's better than $539 anyway. Can't figure out why they're the only ones selling it for less, but I checked with the Volcano folks and they have no problem honoring a warranty from vapedaddy. I also checked with vapedaddy on the 'cano Digit. It's not on their site yet, but the guy said he's going to price it around $500. |

Re: Herbal Air Vaporizer Vs. Volcano
All authorized Volcano distributors cannot advertise the Volcano classic for under $539. Vapedaddy is not authorized and warranty will not be honored! Make sure your Volcano dealer has stock, VaporStore always keeps a good stock. The Herbalaire is another great vape we carry. Our own VaporTower is a great alternative for under $200 and now we offer a payment plan on the VaporTower only, from VaporStore.com.

Re: Herbal Air Vaporizer Vs. Volcano
I have one, it has strong odors of metal and plastics, smells up entire living room just from heating up for a while. I regret inhaling whatever toxins came out with my vapor, tasted horrible. It is the worst vapor experience I've ever had, left me with a sore throat for over a week. In my opinion the VP-500 "Chinese Volcano" is very harmful for use and damaging to the Vape industry in general. As are other models out there. The Herbalaire is comparable in end results to Volcano, yet a little more efficient with the smaller chamber. The VaporTower is my favorite for most of the time, as the bag systems feel harsher on my throat.

Re: Herbal Air Vaporizer Vs. Volcano
Have used herbalAire for a couple of years now. Fine instrument, unbreakable.
I do not use bags or pump, just straight draw. No annoying noise, more hygenic as each person has their own draw tube. Works well with hash and hash oils with a modified liquid pad screen from Volcano makers. Here's where you get them: https://www.storz-bickel.com/go?r=80...static=1&c=USD Of course the Volcano is the ultimate, been using it at my club for some 3 years now. Best portable unit is Vaporgenie...cannot beat it for portability and stealthiness. It's the one I use at home, and god forbid...in the car. Tsk, tsk. Shame on me. And only $50. Smoking is for the fucking birds...save your lungs, vape!
