Re: Good vaporizer in the 150-200 range?
So with the whip, it's kinda like a powered bong, and with the bag you just wait till it fills, then hit it?

$150 w/free shipping to the US or Canada. Vape dealers sell on ebay all the time. And like I said, don't buy across the border if you don't have to. If you're in the US, you can get the vapir one for $150 delivered from any number of dealers. Why do you assume everyone lives in Canada? And I see the same $150 price, shipped to US or Canada on ebay.ca. I also notice your site lists the warranty for the Vapir Vapormatic as 'lifetime'. That hasn't been true for quite some time. It's 90 days and plainly states it on their site. Some sites are listing a 3 yr. warranty as standard (it's $200 extra) Here's a copy of an email response from a company rep. "Thank you for contacting us. I understand the confusion. Basically, the company changed handsa little over a year ago, and with these changes, the Lifetime warranty option was discontinued as of January 2007. Anyone who purchased their Vapormatic, and registered the warranty within ten days of the first of January will be covered under the Lifetime Warranty. Otherwise, the Vapormatic comes with the standard 90-day warranty, with a 3 Year Warranty available for purchase. The 3-Year Warranty is $199.99 and covers any kind of electrical or internal defect or malfunction. The Lifetime warranty basically covers everything except maliciously trying to break the unit. As for the Mystfire, we manufacture these units, but Pyro is a completely different company than ours, so you would have to contact them regarding their warranty policies. Hopefully, this has helped clear things up. If you still have questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. We truly appreciate your support. Thank you, Holland Norkoski Customer Support & Sales Vapir Inc. 2310 Homestead Rd. Suite C1 - #511 Los Altos, CA 94024" And your price on the Vapormatic? $368.42? ![]() Last edited by Medical Marijuana; 03-09-2008 at 09:22 PM. |

A whip vape uses your lung power for air flow. Even if the vape has a fan, like some of the digital whip units, the air from the fan is more to keep a steady temp than to force vapor into your lungs. A bag vape (Volcano is bag only, while the herbalAire, Vapir One, and Extreme are bag or direct draw) uses a fan or air pump to provide a steady stream of air through the heating chamber, mixing air and vapor in the bag. When full, just draw the vapor from the bag at your leisure. You can normally get thicker vapor from a good whip vape (higher vapor to air ratio), but all your hits won't be the same, as with a bag unit, and a whip vape takes some work and practice while filling a bag is as easy as pie. So it's a trade off and usually comes down to personal preference, like auto vs. stick on a car. |

Re: Good vaporizer in the 150-200 range?
I see you can't read. READ THE ENTIRE BLURB on the site. "5.0 Kit available for $169.95 CDN".. I see the price at the top.. BUT read the listing.
As for these warranties.. all of our distributors claim these warranties.. so we offer what they offer... |

I like that 5.0. :-) I have never vaped but I am tempted to try just for the benefits. I just really love the taste of a joint. Is there a taste acclimation period?

The '5.0 kit' sold by vaporizers.ca for $169.95 contains extras you don't get at the $150 price, including extra bags. I don't see any of these extras listed on your site with the Vapir 5.0. What exactly comes with your Vapir One 5.0 for the $171.05 price? If you've got a response, I'll get someone to read it to me, since you say I can't read. Since your prices on the Volcano, Mystifire, and Vapormatic are considerably higher (by as much as $110) than the major on-line dealers, I seriously doubt that SmokeSessions is providing the 5.0 extras that you get for $169.95 at vaporizers.ca. As for Vapormatic warranty, since Air-2/Vapir now only backs it for 90 days, a distributor would have to eat the repair or replacement cost after that 90 days. And distributors aren't guaranteed to last. The long time US distributor/importer for Aromed (Vaposcience) is out of busines and Gotvape is now the official US distributor. |

9ATled: dude, don't be such a hater
if it wasn't for Smoke Sessions this site may not exist. Thats real talk. If he would like to support one of OUR sponsors then cool. If he doesn't and finds a better deal then that is also cool. You are arguing for the sake of arguing and I offer one sentiment: Smoke one and chill, brother ![]()

Re: Good vaporizer in the 150-200 range?
tonystarks: dude, don't put words in my mouth that I didn't say. A "hater"? Arguing for the sake of arguing? Quote me something I've posted in response to him that's not about price or warranty. He's the one that's gotten personal with me, like saying I can't read. All I've been doing is disagreeing with his opinion that his price(s) is good. I look for the best prices from a reputable dealer and assume everyone else wants the best price too. If you or anyone else wants to buy from him to support this site, that's fine with me.
As for the site being dependent on or indebted to Smoke Sessions, that's news to me. Is there something I should have read somewhere that I missed? Some other forum sites like this don't even allow a hot link to a commercial site, let alone advertising from a dealer. Anyway, I'll keep the 'special rules' in mind now that I've been informed. As for chilling, I do that all the time, and since I didn't get 'personal' in any way, I'd say your 'chill advice' is better directed to smoke sessions. And I can't smoke anymore (thus all my vape posts), but I will 'vape one' after work. I'm already chilling nicely thanks. If it seems otherwise, it's probably because you don't know me very well. ![]() |

Re: Good vaporizer in the 150-200 range?
We can all read here. Sometimes we just can't see...that's all.
Without the support of longtime http://www.420magazine.com/forums/42...-sponsors.html such as Smokesessions, this website would've shut down long ago. We are all free to take our business where we'd like. But I know where mine goes. :smoke2: Peace
