There was a site cannalytics.org that was selling a semi-quantitative diagnostic kit.
It was reagent based and colorometric (like a diabetes test strip) Site comes up slow now, not sure if they are active but looks like you can send them an email still.

I admire Boots desire to improve his crops by testing. However, and this is me and me only, I know from the experience I have had over the years, that my (outdoor) fruit crops vary in flavor and flavor intensity from year to year. I am content with this as I am still a student of Mother Nature. With indoor growers it may be different. With all the advice that is available here, for both indoor and outdoor, one should be able to do the best they can at the time with what they have. With nature, sometimes too much attention can be worse than too little attention. I am also sorry that I cannot grow where I am. Also keep in mind, that this is a complex product and while one or two substances might be measured, there may be fifty that contribute to the overall good effect of the product that will not. But thanks again, to all those who grow, learn and help our cause.
