why does a friendly helping hand, become an expectation?

i help you get on your feet.

i help everyone i meet.

i forget i have my own life, put it on hold,

so others can be so bold,

as to make me feel like an ass, when i say i cannot,

have they simply forgot?

that i was not born to cater,

not born to be a waiter,

was not born to make you survive,

not born to make you thrive.

my friends have a life, as do i,

so why?

go ahead get mad,

it'll only make me glad.

that you have to do it on your own,

stop yelling at me on the phone,

i only help those i can,

if i cannot, and you get mad, go stick your head in a metal fan!

psh I totally feel that my brother, seems like I go out of my way so much I forget about myself. I just dont get people sometimes... Doesn't help that most guys out there expect girls to do everything for them after they get together. Punks, set up and be men!
