You're both right actually. I wrapped only the 2x2 frame where the light will be. The ceiling is mylar just like the panels. I am hoping the foil will protect against warping the wood because its only 2x2 and because of the heat and humidity. I did only use screws so that should help out down the road too. I'm not sure how much the foil will help, but it shouldn't hurt it at all.
