I started out with 4 foot long dual bulb 40watt shop lights. Then went to two 70 watt HPS fixtures with the 4 foot floros used for side lighting. Then went to a 400watt MH and then a 430watt HPS and finally a 1k HPS. The difference between the HID's and floros was dramatic. Boss is a good grower with a knack at getting the most from his floros but I think he would be amazed if he went to a 400watt or bigger HID.
