Re: Medical Marijuana And The Psychiatric Patient / My Story

There has rarely been a compassionate act from government towards those with mental disabilities. Insurance companies want to cover very little of mental health care. It is like we are living in a century long gone when those with mental disabilities are shun from the medical community. My son has battled with schizophrenia for years. During that time, he has been in and out of hospitals, and doped up so much he couldn't read or get off the couch. For several years now, he has taken no pharmaceuticals, just cannabis three times a day. He is now a professional in the legal field and is excellent at what he does. What the doctors couldn't control, Mother Nature did with cannabis. Cannabis may not be the miracle drug, but it sure surpasses what is available at your local pharmacy.
