No opinions - just providing info:

From the votehemp "mission and goals":

"Vote Hemp is a national, single-issue, nonprofit organization dedicated to the acceptance of and free market for low-THC industrial hemp and to changes in current law to allow U.S. farmers to once again grow this agricultural crop."

From the HIA site re. "Board of Directors":

Corporate Officers Eric Steenstra, HIA Executive Director
HIA Communications Committee
E.M. Kenderfono
Vote Hemp Director (President)
Eric Lineback, HIA Treasurer
HIA Communications Committee (Chair)
Cosmic Egg Studios
Vote Hemp Director (CFO)

So although both have the same "owners", the votehemp site is the non-profit while the HIA appears to be a for-profit trade organization.
