It is only recently become apparent that Papua New Guinea may be the Holy Grail for new sativa strains. It is a very difficult country to travel in, and it is a society made up of over a thousand tribes, all with different languages and dialects. It is without doubt one of the most primitive countries in the world, and is a quite dangerous place for travellers, especially women. The gangs, known as 'Rascals' are basically running the show, despite best efforts of the Government. It is limited in available transport and getting into the highlands is quite a feat. Some areas are so isolated that is is expected there are still tribal groups that have rarely seen a white man. Despite these negatives, it is a beautiful country, known for its amazing parrots and dense tropical jungles, almost impenetrable to man or beast, with choppers being the only way to access some areas.
