Re: Jamacia Vacation

I was in Motego Bay Iberostar Resort gets high marks very nice all inclusive. We went all over not cheap about what you would pay in the states for taxis and tips. The locals we met were very friendly, but hard selling whatever they had to sell. Your best bet is going with another couple and splitting the cost of a taxi. Then you have your own tour guide who will give you all the info you need. And take you to the best beaches, shops and bars. It gets crowded when cruise ships come in.
Our taxi driver Ernesto saved us alot of cash by taking us to a really nice shopping center, then took us to a certain shop that had the best prices we saw the whole trip.
I had a blast just bargining with the locals. We climbed Dunns River (too crowded), Margaritaville beach in Negril was great, hard sell by locals. Ricks cafe to jump off the cliffs and see the sunset was great also. I will go back, no problem mon!!
