As I've looked around the site here and read many, many posts, I noticed that some people have disclaimers in their signatures. Usually they say something to the effect of, "Anything I say I didn't really say".
My question is, are they necessary? I understand that The Long Arm of the Law can reach anywhere it damn well pleases but is there a legitimate reason for having these? Has anyone here been prosecuted for content posted on a website?
