Whats those white spots on the leaves?

You should rarely if never spray your plant anymore after it's started flowering, it can induce mold on your buds, and that would be a definite bummer for your first crop.

looking really good so far

also...you can mist your plants in flowering if you have good ventilation!! i do it almost everyday if not more. This early when there isn't very much bud you should be fine but don't overdo

P.S. misting can be your best friend towards end product (purple + trich production)

Thanks eyeless! I have putted some Alg-A-Mig to the water i spray with. And do you guys have any experience about misting with carbonated water...isnt there some mineral salts included in those...i was just wondering that does it harm the plant??

misting with carbonated water is apparently good

here is what i have found

Make sure you're using plain carbonated water. Some selters and tonics contain sugars and other additives that can build up and eventually close of the stomata of the plant, hindering their ability to function properly.This method, however, is more expensive and less efficient in the long run, than a CO2 generator.

Hi all! It's been a while and i got some proplems that i cant solve by myself. My Ak has been in flowering 3 weeks and now i have faced some proplems. My leafs are turning yellow ecspecially fanleaves and the tips are curled downwords and i have also noticed some brown spots on the leaves and in leaftips.

Some info(pictures are coming later)
strain:ak47
im using soil
i have been watering the plant 1-2 times a week and have giving nutes in every watering
temperature is around 24-26 degrees celcius when the light is on and about 20 degrees when off

i dont have a ph meter so i dont know what it is

I flushed the plant yesterday but i really dont know what is wrong...all i know that something is WRONG!! Help! asap.

Sounds like a little nute burn, but pics will tell for sure. The flush was probalby a good thing. What strength nutes were you using? Maybe nutes twice a week was a bit much.

No doubt about the over-fertilization problem, leaf-curl downward says that to me, your growing hydro and you have to be completely on your game with going hydro... I have done the hydro way and I still find soil the best way to grow. Hopefully you'll go the soil way next time around. The keys are good soil mix, right fertilizers and CO2 as much as possible, that is the reason that soda water is good because of the CO2... but don't spray it on any plant that in flowering, try to find like a place that sells CO2 tanks, about $100 or so, you would be better off putting that into your grow room and release a little at a time... like for 2 minutes then again a few hours later...a filled tank should last you about 2 weeks and the results will please you... If you need a list of recommended products, i would be happy to help answer any of your problems... flush your roots until you see your leaves turn a lighter color, then cut your nutrients flow in 1/2... it should be enough to get you through your cycle... then go soil

Yeah, looks like it's probably nute burn. I didn't realize this was a hydro grow, and like ABC said, you've really got to be on the ball to do hydro. I wouldn't ever recommend hydro for someones first few grows, so I think you're brave. The plant looks pretty good by the way dispite the lighting trouble you had. Are you flowering w/HPS? Try sticking a few compact fluoros in there if you've got the power to spare. Focus them on the lower bud sites. And, consider clipping A FEW of those large fan leaves to help get light to the lower sites, or maybe do some LST AND tie some of those lower branches out away from your main stem. Getting more light to them will help them bulk up and mature faster.

This is NOT a hydro grow! Im using SOIL! But thank you very much vintner and abc ! I will start using nutes again today and i will also put another bulb for more light to the lower branches. So now i got one 200w ESL and one 125w ESL both are from Envirolite so it should be enough. Lets see how it grows in the future!

i'm not sure if it's nute burn or deficiency... looks like ur plants might need some more N (yellowing of the fan leaves).
are the leaves just pretty much yellow rather than burnt? Pretty sure u need some more nitrogen.

sorry to but in but was given ak47 and it was so small no more than inch tall ,never grown this one before so need a little advice . it now stands at least 4ft and there are buds growing on it . is it ment to be so tall and how long from when the buds start to form does it take to finish and any tips would be so gratefull
