![]() The fun part is, since taking that pic last week, the "sugar" fairy has been working overtime, with every day they get more and more...lol, it's making it hard not to pull them early..

I got about 2 weeks left for the right one so today, I'm going to start flushing them, so that one is right, I don't know if I's going to hurt the left plant, but I have no choice, with them being in the same tub, but I've raised some beautiful plants on little more than water, so a couple of weeks of straight water shouldn't hurt it too bad. edit*..I went ahead, and emptied and cleaned my reservoir, let the flushing begin. :D I hope. :)

Okay, here's the new pics I promised, forgive the image quality, I'm camera stupid. lol
a comparison shot, the Sativa is becoming a beast. :D The Indica is filling out, and the nugs are getting tri's allover them. The Sativa, is finally budding, but this is the craziest plant I've seen genetically, it grows odd leaves, some are 5 finger, some are three or even two fingered, no 7 fingered leaves yet, which is surprising me, of course, this plant is no pure bred, so that's probably why I'm not seeing any, i wont be taking a clone from her, she's big, but slllloooooowww. lol This is another out of focus shot of the biggest top bud on the Indica. I think I might be getting some root rot on the sativa, I compared the damaged leaves to what I've seen here, i added H2O2 to the reservoir, hopefully, I caught it on time. I also reduced my irrigation to two times a day for 10 minutes, the pearlite and rockwool, do a pretty good job of holding moisture so, they are being monitored heavily right now.

Your indica like plant looks great man. Sativas Im sure as you know take a bit longer to finish than the indica dominant strains, so the slow growth is pretty typical. Some Sativas wont grow indoors at all just because they cant get enough light to fully finish. I doubt that will be your case here but I just thought I would throw that tidbit of info out there, lol. Everything looks good man, keep up the good work! Oh and what kind of ballast and reflector is that? brand? Oh and to answer your question, the sativa should be fine through the flushing, it will yellow and show signs of deficiency (especially in the second week and of course at the end of the two weeks it will show the most). but it should survive. Keep in mind it wont put on much girth during this time but its well worth the other choice which is to not flush and that just isnt at all something you want to do. Flushing is vital to taste and quality! So you did the right thing. When you do finally add nutes back to the reservoir make sure you dont burn the plants. Youll want to be careful about adding a lot of nutes after the plant got used to not having any for two weeks, cause you could damage the plant doing this. So , looks better with the PH fixed I would imagine too. Great job man!

the only problem is an AC unit would look really out of place, my grow is in a back yard shed, so if I put a window unit ac in, my neighbor will have to question, why that would need an AC unit. Also, I'd have to run a separate circuit out to the shed, because those are supposed to be on dedicated circuits. I'm not sure on the amperage draw of a dehumidifier, but I imagine they are very close, considering how similar their functions are..
I wonder how many Damp rid buckets I'd have to buy, and how often I'd have to buy them? lol I have my humidity in check well enough for growth, if I could keep it in check during drying, using the damp rid buckets, that may be an option.. almost forgot, again... My light is made by Cool touch lighting, I got it off of EBay, for $170, I think. Its a standard magnetic ballast, but the hood was very well constructed, and it never gets too hot to touch, I love it. I'm due for a new bulb, the Son-agro's only last about two grows, I've found them for $70 for the bulb, but I'll gladly buy another one. So nice not having to use multiple lights. I may get another one just like it and run two, so I can grow a bigger crop..but thats a future debate..lol

The left [Sativa] plant is about 4.5 feet tall, the right [Indica] stopped at 3.5..they both vegged for only 4 weeks, took about the same, for sex to become apparent, and have been on 12/12 ever since. They sprouted the first week of June, so they are going on three months old.
I have a 430 watt son-agro..a ballin ass light if I do say so myself. :D and my relative humidity is high because I live in Central Florida, and it's very humid here during the summer months, but it's not as bad, as it's sounding, I have very good ventilation, and plenty of air movement, so I don't foresee humidity being an issue. :) Thanks Cigo

Hi tronix
![]() Thought I would drop in to see how it's going. It's going fine far as I can tell with my vast experience. lol You were looking for something to try. If you like couchlock you might look at these: BlackJack: 100% feminised! BlackJack’s mother, Black Domino, was a clone sent to the Netherlands from the area around Seattle. Its father is Nirvana’s very own Jock Horror. BlackJack produces hard buds with huge, grape-like calyxes that are completely encrusted with THC! The smoke is heavy and flavoursome, and produces an exceptionally long-lasting high. BlackJack is thought of highly in the medical cannabis scene. and Auroura Indica:Aurora Indica is an F1 hybrid of Afghan and Northern Light. Its plants stay short, producing heavy colas and dense buds. This strain produces exceptional amounts of resin, resulting in a deep, near-black hash with a tasty aroma and a heavy buzz. This probably is our most potent Indica. Both are from Nirvana seed banks. Just a thought. Keep up the good work

Sorry it took so long for an update, my internet was shut off for two weeks..in that time, my Indica is almost ready, and I took a nice little sample bud which is drying as I type, the rest is filling out so nicely, I can't wait. My sativa is becoming a hella beast, I had to LST it, because of it's huge size, and the bud formations are already getting huge, I'll easily have 8-10" top buds on her..pics to come later on today, but needless to say, after living in a virtual cave these past two weeks, I have alot of internet updating to do, so bear with me. :D

As promised, here are the newest pics, freshly taken today (1:10pm est)
![]() The left Sativa is LST'd to accommodate being almost 5 ft tall, it looks like it is crowding the right indica, but it is actually wrapped around the front of it, so both plants are still getting tons of light. ![]() a little closer to the sativa, she's a beast! Here's my little Indica, buried, behind the growing behemoth, the buds are filling out nicely! ![]() Another angle of the Indica ![]() A crappy, out of focus shot of the main top bud of the indica. (Man I wish, I knew how to set my camera up so it would focus, up close shots. lol) well, I figured out, I jumped the gun, when I flushed, atleast 60-70% of the pistils had turned brown, so I thought it was almost done, when out of nowhere a huge surge in growth began, and the calyxes quadrupled in size and number, I'm not complaining, because it all makes for bigger, tastier buds, but I could have left the nutes for atleast two or three more weeks. Good news is, I'm not having any deficiency problems, I suppose, my medium held quite a bit of excess nutes, so it's still getting what it needs for now, I don't want to go now and add nutes again, because it'll start the flushing process all over again, and in this case, I think it best to wait it out, until the Indica is done anyway, once I harvest her, I will add 1/2 strength nutes for the sativa, which has every bit of a month or more left to go. As stated in my pics, I started LST'ing the Sativa, and wrapping it around the indica, so both get plenty of light, it's hard to tell from my weak ass pictures, but the Sativa is going to have some monster buds on her, her small still forming calyxes, extend 8-10" or more already, they just need to fill out. some of the calyxes are so covered with tri's that they look like they have hair, not bad for bag seed. I think I may end up with about 3/4 of an oz. out of the indica, nothing to write home about, but god knows what mix of genetics, are causing the low yield, it's okay, I didn't expect a huge yield this crop anyway, but the Sativa, looks like it may make the difference up, and once I harvest the Indica, the Sativa will have that much more room for expansion.
