Californians have successfully fought for important laws that help protect medical marijuana patients and providers from arrest and prosecution. The fight isn't over, but we have made great progress.

Unfortunately, too many law-abiding California residents have been prosecuted on federal marijuana-related charges. It is time to put an end to this injustice.

Please urge U. S. Senator Barbara Boxer to introduce a "Truth in Trials" bill in the U. S. Senate. Such a law would enable California residents facing federal marijuana-related charges to tell the federal jury that they were following state law.

From what I gathered from this post and others dealing with fed cases it seems that the FEDS don't let u mention medical necessity in ur defense in federal court is this true? In eddy lepp's case this was the case I believe.
