As Im sitting here rippin' hits off my bong.. I wonder why it isn't legal and it makes me so mad that people are so ignorant to the true medical facts about marijuana, and the things that it really truely helps. When I was younger of course I got high with my friends and back then YES i was using it just to get high and have fun, but then I turned 17 and I stopped smoking it for many years, and here I am 12 years later smoking it. I started smoking again when I was 26 years old and still smoking because my fiance at the time smoked and I didn't. At that time I was suffering from chronic migraines accomanied by alot of nausea, so I was taking a whole lot of pain medications, going in to the doctor and getting heavy pain injections, I might as well have been doing he*ion, my fiance said to me why dont you just try smoking some weed and see if it helps, its alot better then all the chemicals in all the pain meds, so I said ok I will try it, and it fucking WORKED!! I cut down on my pills and injections to the point where I completely stopped them and all I do is smoke for the pain and nausea now. I also had sleeping problems and anxioty and now that I am a weed smoker I dont have as many issues with any of it now... I look at smoking weed completely different then I did back when I was a kid. Man made alcohol, GOD made weed plants, who do you trust? right? I strongly believe in LEGALIZING marijuana! It would defenately help California's debt problems!! LEGALIZE IT AND SMOKE IT!!Total Comments 12

i totally agree with you!!
the way i see it, this is MY body, who the fuck does anyone think they are telling me what i can and cannot put in it??
i say LEGALIZE everything, damnit. people are going to do what they want to do, regardless of laws.
alcohol is way more damaging to bodies (and society) and it will never be illegal because society has accepted it as a "social" drug..
i know for a fact, that when i smoke, i am still conscious enough to make good decisions.

don't legalize EVERYTHING? Yes pot should, and someday will be legal. But the "people will do what they want" argument is a nill one. So crack should be legal? He'ron? Meth? PCP? where does it stop at what point do you say NO to drugs. When they kill you that's when. I believe de Herb is a healer, I believe some psychedelics open the mind, but I don't believe in total anarchy. How many people hopped up on He'ron do you want cruising 75 down the highway with you?Posted 06-18-2009 at 12:11 PM by Chek

that is soooooo true but completly diffrent to how it is over here in nz its just straight illegal which sucks hard but the only reason it is illegal here is because the government cannot claim TAX!!! on it sure they can open up coffee shops n what not like they do in good ol amsterdam but they still cant shut down all the lil operations known over here as "tinnie houses " and even if they did manage to bust all the "tinnie houses" which is higly unlikely to happen would they legalise it or would they would still keep it illegal even for medical purposes. and on that note people over here who do have cancer have no option but to have chemo and thats it it would be great to be more liberal for those purposes but alas no so where to from here ???
no where from here in a few years it'll still be the same no change for the better or for the medically sick.
i guess the only thing we can do over here is sit and wait for something to happen but when ??
theres to many narrow minded people over here to spark any sort of change.
so i guess the pot community over here will still have to creep in the shadows so to say untill the time comes.
so where to from here ??Posted 06-21-2009 at 08:02 PM by SillySmokah

We need help to grow it and the Govnt needs our help to legalize it. With many like myself, weed deadens the pain my disease called anklyosing spondulitis. I can bong a hit or 2 in the morning and I'm good all day. There is no other drug for my pain with the results that MJ can do.Posted 06-24-2009 at 01:25 AM by SouthCarolina

I think weed will have a better chance at being socially acceptable internationally once two countries legalize and create a global cannabis trade (import/export). Y do u think they don't fuck with alcohol and tobacco. For this very reason. They've been traded for centuries. To stop now would terribly disrupt the global industrial market IMHO. Until hemp or MMJ reaches this status I don't see it happening. It'll take a country with a global voice to catch the get the ball rolling, as there are already countries relying on industrial hemp products. When the market establishes itself people have to become comfortable and dependant upon the revenue for them to fight to keep it legal or even further progress social acceptance. This is just my opinion.Posted 07-26-2009 at 06:30 AM by BWC BayArea
