having trouble with sick plants
okay lets start with fact that you started them in indoor light then put them out doors well basicly they are all going to dye. you are not suppose to bring them out when started in indoor light. it kills them and i have other people that know the condition and say the same thing you have killed them. even if one or two make it i'll put money you lose them all get them in a cool spot and get them back under the lights short 6hrs days try to save them if you can its a disruption of their life cycle and it messes them upPosted 07-17-2010 at 06:17 AM by smoke one 4 u

I think this is such an important message b/c...
If you are in the Western United States make sure you get out and VOTE in the elections. Only by voting in the people who will legalize can we effectively change things. Too many people don't vote. It DOES make a difference especially in local, state, congress & senate races. The electoral college doesn't come into account, only in presidential elections. We can Vote them out of office.
In some states, Texas is one, people who have completed their unjust sentences can register to vote and should definitely do so.Posted 05-01-2010 at 04:10 AM by Kaylea

I'm sorry about what happened to you, but I'm happy to hear that you are a survivor. The judicial system, government, etc. are design to keep us slaved. In the mind and in fear, that's why in other countries they don't play that shit he would have been done 6 feet below. But Mary Jane (marijuana) is used to expand the brain as well as our emotions what we need is a cause now a days, which we have look at society today. We need a REVOLUTION to light up this darkness!!!http://www.420magazine.com/forums/im...es/RoorRip.gifPosted 05-01-2010 at 02:52 AM by ktrain25

How many of you...
I do not have any childern as of yet .I am totally into not makeing bad habbits for them before they have a chance to grow. The law states in most of Canada where I am from ,that you can't smoke around any one under the age of 18 what so ever. This is more so in cars. If you are seen smoking in a car with a kid the fine can be any where from 250$ to 2500$ and in some cases there are trying to push to remove kids from uncare, do and attention if I said that right.
I think the same for pot. Because there are some out there that will use it for a steping stone to worse and more expensive drugs. Hey we are only human and for some that is a human way. I do not or won't smoke anything in front of kids. Why not let them learn in school that anything you smoke is bad ,because it is in it's own way from cigarettes to weed. Our lungs were not built to inhale smoke of any kind . I rather see some one not smoke weed if they have no use for it.
They also teach that coffee, tea, choclate etc. are bad for to in school ,They don't tell you not to use it ,they just show what may happen if you do.
don't let anyone convince you that there are no side effects to smoking weed ,there are ,the major one is insomia the will not to sleep. Which can be bad in the right head.
Don't get me wrong I am all for weed but for every good trait there is a bad one that is in everything we eat drink or smoke, that is why we got to regulate our intake and we all know that any one under the age 18 does not know or can not do that ,there are kids. The age of 18 is a little extreme but you get the picture.
Weed they say is not that addictive but to some it may be.For me a gram can sit in my dresser for weeks before I touch it ,but it has to be there and if it is not I replace it .
I do smoke cicgarettes to and yes it is way more addictive then pot but does it matter how much or how less.
On the other hand if I didn't smoke weed I would have a medical bill that I probally be in debit from. So I will probally smoke it until the day I die. Cigarettes I am trying to get out of my life now As I type.
Also things do come hand in hand, for instance when I smoke a joint right after I crave for a cigarette and that makes me want a coffee.
Funny how things work!!!Posted 04-18-2010 at 10:36 PM by zigzagburning

One of the "crosses" indica/sativa that I have encountered is called HEADBAND and it has a following. It is OG Kush crossed with sour Diesel and then crossed back with the original OG Kush.It does well indoors as well as outdoor/greenhouse.Posted 03-16-2010 at 05:28 PM by chronicreform

which strains help you for your ailments?
One strain that I have heard NOTHING BUT POSITIVE about here in Humboldt County (NorCal) is called Blue Dream. Everyone from the growers to the trimmers love it and for medicinal use it is a cross between Blueberry (2000 cup winner) and super silver maui Haze. The sativa hits me in the head and the Indica affects the bodt(sleepytime)Posted 02-19-2010 at 04:53 PM by chronicreform

Quote:Green Crack has to be one of my favorites for daytime use. It actually gives me the energy that I need to do my regular daytime activities but also gives me some pain relief as well (pain associated w/migraines, spasms/ticks related to seizures, nerve pain). I like some kind of Purp for bad insomnia or severe pain at night Or a good concentrate like Blackberry.
Green Crack.....Why I am growing that in my little bubble tank right now. I bought the clone because I loved the name....Green Crack....sounded so enchanting.Posted 02-19-2010 at 04:10 AM by origamijoint

Wire colors
First. The orange wire...aka the orange colored conductor. This conductor is present in industrial/commercial/and commercial buildings. So if you are in one of these places and are looking at wires......don't. call someone. This wire has a higher voltage to ground. Like alot...,like call someone. Electrician get high too.....someone will help.
NEC 218.5
Now that that is out of the way....the two colors that hold importance for 99% of what we love to do: green and white.
But before we trudge down the road to electrical success.....I need explain how electricity works.
I don't know how it works....but it does. (The whole electron/movement/current flow...well I do know...but let's pretend I am really dim about it.)
OK look at the wires arriving into where you live....there are two or three black wires and they are wrapped around a metal cable looking rope. All of these are important.
Electricity is created at the power plants.----hee hee "plants" and gets sent to your future grow house. It comes in off of the pole and goes into that funky thing with the holes in it called the service head.
Electricians (specifically an inside wireman) route the current all around you house...to every switch/light/vibrating toy whatever........and send it back to the panel....and then to the ground...literally. Into the ground via that pipe or whatever sticking into the ground that has or should have a clamp attached to it.
So like lightning.......the electricity is going to the earth...the ground...and dissipate within the earth. Here is where you have a choice.....You can have the electricity go to the ground via the wires......or through you. It kinda huts. And not it the good way.
So WTF .
The three or four wires arriving (you must count that bare metal cable as it is one of the conductors...as it is connected directly to the earth...through the metal pipes
and to that rod sticking out of the ground.
Here we are looking at the main service panel.....with that meter spinning and spinning and spinning.....
1. one of the insulated coated wires is going to have 120 volts (approx). The other insulated conductor is going to have another 120 volts available on it. The bare metal cable or there will be a third insulated cable that looks exactly like the other two.....except there will be a small piece of white tape around the end. Really close to where it terminates. This little piece of white paint or white tape is really really important and means alot. Do not remove it or disregard it.
Now the "breakers" or over-current protection devices all come off of one (120 volt Branch) or both (240 volt branch) conductors. next time you are at a hardware store with panels....look at it..picture how the wires from the poles enter the box and land on the terminals and how the breakers attach to the metal bar...and how the smaller wires attach to the other side of the breaker....
Here is how it works.....you have a pipe (hee hee pipe...thought that might spark interest) and into that pipe goes three wires. One colored, one white, and one green. If your place is not wired this way....do not dispair....it prob. only has the black and white wire. Relax...not a big deal as you will see.
OK the current (juice, whatever) moves through the colored wire (LETS SAY THE WIRE IS A BLACK WIRE) It goes into your lamp via the black wire.
AND THEN....In order for the lamp to work......In order for your ladies to get that magic light.....the current must return to the panel....it has to go to the earth....remember....
So it returns to the main service panel (where the little meter thing keeps spinning like a top cus of some of the lamps we like to use) on the white wire. The white wire completes the circuit.
That is right....the white wire.....completes the path back to the panel.....and then and only then....in the panel itself....does the white wire connect to the ground.....or the earth...and it does this by making a connection with the green wire.
So birds on a wire do not fry or explode because they are not completing the path to the ground.
If you were able to throw a pigeon lasso of white wire over the pigeon's neck as it sat on the high voltage lines....it would explode. And not in a good way.
So the white wire is called the Ground or Grounded Conductor. Because there is an intentional connection (at and only at the service panel) between the white wire and the green wire. Common to call it the neutral wire. The code does not refer to this wire as a neutral....
it is called the grounded conductor.
NEC 200.6
Ready for a mouth full of dirty confusing sand.....that green wire.....well it is identified as the
Grounding conductor.
Yup...
SO I remember them this way.
whitE wire----groundEd.
Green wire----GroundinG conductor.
And thre green wire is what saves our asses.
I am going to eat a pop tart and popsicle....love the dumb ass jokes on the sticks....
More later.
It's sole existence is to complete the path to the ground from the device you juicing up.Posted 02-19-2010 at 04:05 AM by origamijoint

Wire colors
The three colors are White, Green (heehee green), and orange.
Always made me wonder why there was a rainbow of wire colors every time i opened up some box. And sometimes there were inconsistent wires connected to one another. (like a black and a white...which is a really bad thing.)
over time all these questions were answered. And very very very few of them were answered by the code book.
So beginning with wire color....and moving from there....I will give out the knowledge which is called "trade knowledge" or simply "trade installation tradition" either way....stay safe. Or safer.Posted 02-19-2010 at 02:54 AM by origamijoint

LED Grow Op
Suggest you research this more
LEDs are great in my opinion when you must be stealth, and can't have heat.
There are a lot of journals here demonstrating what these can do.
For HPS 1gram per watt is a good benchmark.
The claim you've heard would be over 4 grams per watt
I haven't seen anyone achieve anywhere near this yetPosted 01-10-2010 at 03:50 PM by Soniq420

Card is on it's way :)
Thanks a lot Michael. Doctors don't stay long around here. It's a very rural area in the north country. I may just print out a bunch of info I glean from the web and ask him to look at it if he has the time. He knows that I'm not a druggie and just looking for a way to get wasted all the time. I rarely do enough to get stoned. A small hit every couple of hours is enough to take the edge off and give me a better outlook on life.
We may be moving in a year or so to southern BC to be near family and half decent medical facilities. I just hope I don't get busted in the meantime.
Getting a grower is a done deal so no problems there. He'd love to be a designated caregiver. ;0)

Card is on it's way :)
You and your wife do qualify, so keep trying. Ask the doctor if he would sign year after year if you could get a pain specialist to sign the first one. Then work on finding one who will sign. Sorry, I am not much help. I can be a big help as an advocate who goes in the Doctors office with a potential card holder and then do what I can to find a grower for the person or give them links on how to grow .Posted 12-28-2009 at 09:29 PM by michaelkaer

MMAR card
Here is a new update. I got the card and I am waiting for papers from my grower. It is just a matter of time...Quote:I hope it comes in for you. I tried talking to my doc about it and tho he wasn't against it he didn't sound very enthusiastic. He's a transplanted doc from South Africa and probably doesn't want to rock the boat. I've been treated for chronic depression on and off for thirty years since my early twenties after a vicious hammer attack that almost killed me. Regular and serious bouts of insomnia can leave me so sleep deprived that I have trouble functioning. Along with those I have had trouble with bursitis and an unknown form of arthritis for years that greatly reduces my mobility and is a constant source of pain. MJ helps me way more than the poisons the doctor prescribes for me and I wonder if I'm suffering enough to be eligible for a card?
My wife is considered permanently disabled due to scoliosis, degenerative spinal disease, etc and is collecting AISH, (Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped), so that is an avenue we are looking into.
I sux to be a fully grown adult in my 50s and be told I can't use a wonderful herb like cannabis to treat what ails me.
Thanks for letting me bend your ear.
