I am not much of a blogger, but I probably should be considering that I usually have some comment to make on just about any subject. I recently came to the conclusion that living in floriduh is a pain in my ass. I moved here from Seattle 3 years ago and have found that things are much more expensive here and the quality is basically $shit (can we cuss in our own blogs or is that not allowed?)
I have been smoking weed since 1976, in other words for basically 30 years of my life. When I moved to Seattle bud was easy to get and affordable. I smoked it daily usually after work, my after work "martini" of sorts.
Since moving to floriduh, I have not been able to enjoy a constant supply of my favorite herb. When I can find it, it is hit or miss as far as quality goes. Part of my problem is my age. The kids seem to have all the good stuff but what 20 something year old wants to hang out with a 40something year old, lot alone toke one?
I found some old seeds and thought I would give growing my own a try. When I lived in Seattle I had the best veggie garden I ever had. I should have tried growing it there. I grew poppies in my yard and when the time was right, would have a nice batch of poppy tea. Though it was a nice mellow buzz the itching was just not worth the buzz.
Given the choice of the best vodka money can buy or a bag of weed, I take the weed every time. Booze just does not cut it for me. It makes me numb and gives me a headache. I like being stoned. I am more productive when I am stoned. I am more creative when I am stoned. And my house is so damn clean when I am stoned compared to when I am not.
If the stupid government would get it through their collective heads that weed is not a gateway drug and to legalize it this country would be a much better place.

Wait till you’re 58 like me and try to score some weed from your 20 year old nephew. It can be awkward.
 And yeah, I guess Florida is pretty conservative so it must be difficult. I imagine, given some time, you’ll eventually make some connections. Quote:
