Im growing in a tent but seem to notice that all of my plants arent getting enough light to the bottom of the plants, due of course to the fact that the light is hanging from the top and i have to much leaf cover. So i was thinking about adding a t-5 of some sort on the bottom of the tent, maybe leaning on its side to provide light to the bottom parts of my plant, would that work or cause wiered growing problems? just wondering my best way to manage light to the bottom without having to cut all the big fan leaves off the top(which i dont wanna do)? any ideas? thanks for all the helpful info everyone!

I've seen this done numerous times and did it once myself as well.
I used single bulb 4' T5 fixtures and put them vertically in each corner of the grow closet. In a tent it should be easy to just zip-tie them in place to the corner pole supports. They're not powerful enough to over-ride the overhead light but work great at getting extra light to those shadowy nooks and crannies.
