Hi Guys,
Complete begginer here, in everything! Tell me what you guys think.... It's 6 cubic feet, 1ft wide by 3ft high and 2 ft deep, i plan to grow and flower 2 plants in this area.

That's very nice looking on the inside! Stealthy on the outside. Impressive.
 I keep reading that CFL's are best when used horizontally, but I don't know if the type of CFL makes a difference and I don't have experience on either anyway. How many intake/outtake fans are you using? Did you use any kind of calculations to come up with what size to use, or did you have an idea already? I'm working on a small PC box but I think I need bigger fans before I get started, with temps reading about 83. Anyway, congrats and good luck with round 1 in your new box! |

I know i also keep reading the same, i'm thinking of modifying the light, anything that will make my babies grow better  Ermm only calculations i did was reading that a plant needs 1 square foot of area so decided on these measurements to fit 2 plants maybe push for 3 becuase im limited on space so i needed something no too big, stealthy and also able to move around hence the wheels :) , i have 3 pc fans running , 2 exhaust ones at the top and a bigger one at the bottom for the intake, when running everything temp is around 26 - 28 degrees celcius which is a good average so perfect :) BTW we have life !!!  so exited

This is alright! I would put a few small holes in the bottom to draw in cool air. also you should prune the top off the plant off to make it bush more "not now hahaha". Once it feels the walls it will go up.
You need a bush like plant for cfls.

I think i should be fine as a already have the big fan blowing in and 2 fans blowing out, iv'e also added some Co2.
Also i'm planning on doing some LST ( to keep them nice and low ) and also top the plants. Any suggestions as to when to do this? iv'e read i should wait until the plants are at least a ft tall. Thanks in advance!  update....

It's a start! the leaves are a bit wrinkled, do you check your ph?
It's lookin just like the start of many other sucessful grows. Won't be a high yeilder but you should get maybe an oz of good stuff...

Just give it plain water for awhile, seems pretty light. Once you know your ph for your supplies you may never need to check it again..

I would say 2 more weeks maxx then it will be time to flower or you will out grow your cabinet!
