Re: fresh air!!!!!

Yes. Fresh air from outside is always best though. In my room I'm pulling fresh air from a vent from another room and have a air conditioner. I think its a lot easier to control the room environment that way.

Re: fresh air!

Yea I leave the exhaust fan on 24 hrs. I can't risk the smells going in the home. I have the exhaust fan ducting going to the chimney to avoid 4/5 extra drying vents coming out the house. Than the smell will evaporate up in the air too.

How do you have the vent fan tapping into the chimney? I'm just wondering because I want to vent out my chimney as well. My issue is I would have to create a "T" to hook my exhaust line into the furnace exhaust line that runs out to the chimney. Some people have advised me against this due to the fact that the pressure from the inline fan could potentially cause back pressure on the furnace exhaust. Plus there would be a chance of some of the stinky air gouing the wrong way once it reaches the "T" causing some smell to escape and go into the furnace? Thanks

Did you just tap into the exhaust for the furnace that leads up the chimney?
