No, mine doesn't have have a carbon filter as of right now. When the time comes to where it starts smelling then I'll deal with it then.

I have the 400watt HPS hooked up with the ballast on the outside of the dresser and all works but I haven't finished the ventilation since I wont be in the flowering stage for a month or two.
