electrical circuit ?

i`m looking for info on making a circuit pannel for my 400 watt ballast and 430 watt hps light,exhaust fan,room fan. is there a thread here somewere to read. not sure if i can use my existing wall plug with a good power bar (surge protected ) or if i need to improve it cant remember formula to calculate.

Divide total watts by the voltage (120) to get amps. That's a basic and incorrect way to look at it, since there's some other small factor to figure as well. Hopefully some electrically unchallenged person will chime in here.
