RuBBerMaiD stealthbox.. REVISED!! 9 CFL's

So i posted in the grow diaries section about a week ago with my first "draft" of my grow box. I used the rubbermaid method but took it a step further.

I started with two rubbermaid storage tots, two vanity light fixtures, 9 cfl (6 warm for veg and an additional 3 cool colored bulbs for the flower stage.) Two box computer fans and a whole roll of metal A.C. duct tape.

My seeds are 4 days from arriving so im getting super anxious and i want to share my Creation with everyone and get some helpful opinions.

Here are some pics of the finished box ready to go.

I have this box placed inside a closet that has modified padlock on it, so if you were ever to see inside this closet this would be the first thing you see.



now push aside the blackout curtain and you get my badass box hah.

Ok back to buisness.

Before you ask "What about the smell?"
You will notice in the next pic that i have an exhaust tube running from the top of the box. Inside the metal tube is a carbon filter that the air from the inside of the box passes through.
The other tube you see is a one way valve tube that sucks fresh air in and lets no air out. THIS BOX IS COMPLETELY SEALED!! Now heres the twist, as i was finding a place to mount this box i used the laundry closet. BUT WAIT!! Isnt their a exhaust vent for the dryer that should be their that leads directly through the house and out the roof. Yes i sealed my carbon exhaust to the dryer outtake exhaust so no worries about smell unless your on the roof and can smell past a carbon filter.

Now for my second favorite part of this grow. I ran into a space problem with the pots sitting inside the box. I only had 28" for growth before due to the pots being 12 " tall in the box so i cut holes in the box for the pots to drop down into to eliminate that shortage of growth. I added an extra 11" to my grow for my two biggest ladies. You may also ask what the black rings around the pots are, I used a sealing rubber foam around the holes i cut, this way when the pots are dropped in the hole it creats a "Leakless Seal" cant have any of that sweet smell wondering.



Heres another view of the added height and also take into account the intake fan. Ofcoarse i had to hang a pic of some skunk for some "motivation" for my new plants hahaha.



The harmonious light show. 6 warm for veg, and an additional 3 cool light for flower.



Lastly I need an opinion of my product, Im using all foxfarm nute and soil product. Does anyone have any mixture ratios for the perlite and the lime?
For now im using soil to perlite 3 to 1 and lime only 2 tbs for every gallon of soil? The last jug you see is the 3 day flush liquid for the end of flower.

Any input is helpful, these ladies will be in the ground by next fri.



Other than this i have 6 Fem. Northern Light crossed with Skunk, Flying Dutchman seeds otw, they shipping yest so im hoping to have the seeds in the Jiffy Pots ASAP.

Hopefully this post will help other with their ideas, i know the first stealthbox i saw on this website was sick and it gave me ideas. But now this is the updated Box. What do yall think?

Nice setup, You did Great! Fox farm Grow big is AWESOME! I am using same. Can't wqait to see this underway I will take the first seat.
Are you gonna only put 2 fem seeds in there? Thats all you'll have room for, those pots might be a little small, what size are they?

Neat! That's pretty original! Fox Farm soil from what I'ver heard is the best. We are using the same Fox Farm Nutes as you, and so far I'm pleased.

I believe they are 2.5 gallon pots. I also have two small pots for some bagseed im going to give a shot at. If they turn out to be males though theyre getting ripped immediatly and im going to add to more female seeds. I think the pots should be sufficient. I just need to worry about height but i think im ganna do some more research on LST and see if i cant contain these ladies a little.

(MS.Fox) good to hear i did my research and FF turned up with the bet results so i went with them. Im using the Websites feeding sched. on FF.com is this what you guys would recommend.?

I also had a question about the lime, should i add lime into the jiffy pots as well as the pots or ONLY in the pots. Im curious because i dont know if transplanting into lime is good for the seedling? Let me know please.

(Boss) As far as the heat and humidity, I ran a 3 day trial on my box and after the full 18hr light sched. the temp was at its highest 82 F and the humidty has never gone above 59 and never dropped under 45. So far i think im in the ball park.
