*** Attention Tehama County Prop 215 Patients ***

We have established the meeting time and place for you to meet with the attorney and sign on to the Class Action Suit against the County of Tehama

Please review the following information prior to attending the meeting

Plaintiffs should be valid Tehama County patients or caregivers whose right to cultivate is compromised by the ordinance.

In particular, the ordinance declares

* It to be a nuisance to grow any marijuana within
1,000 feet of a school, school bus stop, church, park, child care center, or school evacuation site;
* or for patients or collectives to grow more than 12 mature and/or 24 immature plants on less than 20 acres of land (30 mature/60 immature plants are allowed on parcels of 20-160 acres, or up to 99 plants total on larger parcels).
* In addition, all gardens must be registered with the Tehema Health Services Agency, and all patients must have state ID cards.
* Outdoor gardens must be surrounded by a six-foot opaque fence and set back at least 100 feet from the property line (the latter requirement can be waived by the county in cases of unusual hardship).

California NORML strongly believes that these restrictions violate the fundamental principles of Prop. 215, which was written to assure that patients have legal access to medicine.

If you are a valid prop 215 patient effected by the actions of the Board of Supervisors of Tehama County and have further questions prior to the meeting please contact ED Lerman Law Offices: (707) 468-8300 or Dale Gieringer, Director, California NORML (415) 563-5858

The meeting will take place at 11:00 am on April 22nd at the Comfort Inn Suites Located at 90 Sale LN, Red Bluff, CA
