They take on about 10 -20 patients maybe a few more for transporting. They have you sign a form designating them as your care provider. Take a copy of your rec and drivers license to post on their wall and drive with. They make sure their patients can identify them and will offer court support If necessary. The last one Is real important from what I understand. If you cant pick out your care provider than they feel it is not legit. Almost forgot, most stay under 99 plants period per house. Some doctors give provisional recs that allow for more plants I have never seen one over 99. No you dont need to live in the same county and no address changes are required as far as I know. Your area may be different I live in so-cal and the people Im talking about live in nor-cal. I hope this helps have a good one

I am NOT an attorney but have been TOLD that the laws are a lot stricter for a primary caregiver as of late last year. I believe that the case that set the precedent was "MENTZ". Now to be a caregiver by definition you need to actually give care... meaning drive to appointments, aid in household chores...not just grow marijuana for them.
What you may want to look into is a collective garden. which seems that you can grow for other patients if they help with the grow wich may mean anything from watering, planting, trimming or "possibly" contribute financially. Under state guidlines you can have 6 mature OR 12 immature plants. If you had 3 patients growing in one garden you probably should be able to have 12 immature (1 scrip) and 12 mature for the other 2 prescriptions. I would suggest you spend $100- $250 on a professional in person consultation with a qualified attorney who specializes in this industry. I know there is a attorney...Jennifer (something) that practices in Nevada City who is knoweldgable on the subject. The small fee is worth the education in my opinion good luck and bud be with you .
