Wondering the best way to store pot cookies long-term

I just made a bunch of cookies with a cup of cannabutter and I was wondering what the best way to store them would be. I currently have them in a tin wrapped up in plastic.

Do they need to go in the fridge or anything to preserve them?

Does the potency decrease over time? (They will be around for a week or two)

Thanks, just a quick question I don't want them to go bad!

I freeze mine - though I do it before I cook my cookies (but after for brownies or breads). Not sure why you can't freeze afterward....also you should be fine for a week or 2.

I freeze mine too - I eat a cookie a night so my batches stay in the freezer up to a month and stay potent.

My suggestion would be freeze the butter and save it rather than making all the cookies right away. Just use the butter as you need it, plus that allows you to put a little on some toast after a long day if you don't feel like making cookies but you can always make nice fresh cookies!
