For sure! Some kind of honest test from regular users would be cool. I'll try the Mango thing tonight and post results here. A test I would like to see is if squeezing orange Juice in the soil helps with taste. I love that stuff that tastes like Fruity Pebbles!

Lowryder#2 has that fruity flavor...well, at least the last and only batch I harvested did anyway I don't know about the OJ trick...I would think it would have too much acid for mj. But I may be wrong???

OJ on the roots has zero affect on taste. Roots only take up the nutrients, not the flavinoids.

I was pretty astonished at the difference one mango made, three bowls of ice last night and i was feelin real good, ate a mango this morning and an hour later i hit up a bowl of ice again and wow i didn't even get halfway through it and i feel almost as high as last night. good stuff...wonder if it'll increase the length of the high as well

so mango was first on the list but what about lemon grass tea and the hops

a good test would be divide a bag of smoke in 4
day 1- smoke only

day 2 - mango before smoke

day 3- lemon grass tea no mango

day 4 nearbeer no tea or mango [nearbeer has hops but no alcohol to screw up test]


what's Ed's take on tea or hops drinks ?

If it has high levels of Myrcene, it will work just as well as a mango IMO. As Ed points out in his book, the plants you mention do contain Myrcene, but not in the same quantities as a mango. I would rather eat a mango than a bay leaf lol

I think you would have to consume a lot of lemon grass and/or hops to get the same effect. It comes down to concentrations. The main thing is to have your plasma levels charged with Myrcene, so that the effect is noticeable. I would tend to stick with mangos because they are soooo yummy. I reckon the best and most flavoursome mangos come from Australia (Bowen, Kensington pride, Calypso, Honey Gold, to name a few). Australian mangos are VERY high in Myrcene!

Can someone tell me the proper way to eat a mango! Holy shit! It aint no corn on the cob!
Do you eat it like a kiwi, pear, or a banana? WHat about the fibery middle? WHen are they ripe how can you tell whne they're ripe? Why does it look like pudding?


I just smoked a bowl of some weak stuff and ate the mango. Gonna smoke another bowl and see what happens!
