I'm helping my mom who is on the Rick Simpson Oil for her ovarian cancer. I heard that if you're on the oil make sure you cut down on the meds / painkiller / steroids etc as they block the receptors and stop the oil from working as is should.
Can anyone comment on this? I know she takes gabapentin, steroids when doing chemo, and other pain killers when her arthritis is bad. Right now she is just taking small doses of the RSO and plans to jump into the protocol as soon as her chemo ends which is in a couple of weeks.
Also, she is very sensitive to the oil and gets high on just a tiny dose. Does anyone know whether suppositories would help her not get so high?
