First Diesel Grow (bagseed)

This is my first grow of an unknown strain of diesel started indoor on May 12. I randomly piked 2 seeds from some bagweed I got in a desperate time and to my surprize they both are female, 2 out of 2 ain't bad, eh? These were germinated in 2 days and then planted in potting mix using 6" pots with extra drain holes I added, the seedlings in the photo are 2 days old.

This is one of the plants, both are growing at almost the same rate, they are now about 6 weeks old. So far grown indoors with often days outside in the sun. At this stage I was not sure what gender they were.

Here are both of the diesel plants just before deciding to transplant outdoors fearing that they will be males. I have another grow going indoors and they were already sexed females.

This is a few days after the transplant to outdoors. They never stressed, these were easy to grow thus far. On the left is the one I topped, I didn't top the one on the right. I wanted to see the differences on how they flower. The date was August 08 I believe.

New flower buds are now obvious, this one has pale colored pistils so I named her Paleface.

This one has red pistils so I named her Redskin. Resin is already oozing out of these baby buds.

This is Paleface, the leaves are poor looking due to the dry desert heat and grasshoppers. Both plants are forming nice buds under those leaves, they're thick and hard packed.


This is Redskin, you can see the tops, the leaves veil the other yummie buds.

Ok, I'm impressed with this girl for her massive budding, she feels like one solid bud all the way down the tree. Her pistils are pale compared to the other plant. Her odor is almost identicle to Redskin's yet unique in a way that I haven't pin-pointed yet there's the obvious diesel smell that dominates.

Now here's a real beauty, this is the main cola of Redskin. I can smell her fragrance 10 feet away as I approach. This photo was just taken Sept 15th.

And here are the samples I trimmed from both plants. I only snipped the tip of the lowest branch on either tree.

I'm guessing and hoping that these may be Red Diesel. If they are, then harvest should be in mid October, another month to grow! Yah baby!!!
