These are three clones i brought home from dispensaries near me. Three are supposedly some variety of a girl scout cookie from their personal garden. The other is a type of OG. Im flying by the seat of my pants here. They may not be the best. I wonder if i should start over or give these babies a chance.

400 watt HID
I have a 90 Watt LED UFO not using
SOIL- Vermifire
6 inch ventilation fan
active carbon fiber

HI temp - 80-83F
LO temp - 70-76F

45-50% humidity.

I saw a pest and treated with AzaMax a rather diluted solution.

thanks!

Oh and sorry if i have super long comments on all of my photos. I could not figure out where was the proper place to disclose info. So i just kept doing it.

I transplanted last night. Bought some HEAVY 16 nutes last night. Going to water and feed tonight.

I topped two of the three larger Sativa looking guys and tied one down for some LST. I think i am going to get significant Kolas from it.

I am concerned with the foliage damage. I am chalking it up to Light fatigue from running 24/0. Im back to 18/6 as of today.

Still concerned.

I havent fed them anything yet so maybe it is just nute burn from the soil. And heat and light.

I haven't been worrying much about PH because i am using distilled water. I have been having faith that by feeding them ONLY every 3rd watering that my PH stays balanced.

Initially i was feeding them tap water left out over night and learned this is rather pointless.

SO no i am using Heavy 16 NUtes

Cal-Mag
Heavy 16 Primer
Bud-A
Bud-B

Distilled Water

I have been treating them every other week for mites with Aza Zol. I like where its heading. I just hope they do not take forever to flower. Also some have become rather bushy near the trunk at the nodes. I am wondering if i should do some more agressive pruning.

Cheers,

d

is that a distiller you own or bought water? i am still concerned with your pH. one of the most important factors for growing cannabis a grower must get control over is pH. pick up either a pH test kit or a pH meter and solutions for it.

here is a search for a Genera Hydroponics pH Test Kit

https://www.google.com search Genera Hydroponics pH Test Kit

you need a digital pH meter meant for hydroponic nutrients. most of them require a pH 7 solution and a pH 4 solution for calibration. do not let the electrode tip dry out. use either storage solution or the pH 7 solution in the cap to keep the tip wet.

you might like one like this.

gonna take a seat on this on if that's ok doc?? looks good so far! and I must say I have only done 1 grow but every1 I spoke to told me to watch my p.h
so I got a testing kit and my water out my tap in the uk was around 8ish witch is pretty high so I got some p.h down and added a little bit of that to sort it :) and if you need to raise it you can get p.h up I had king john c watching my last journal and hes good to have around :)

mmmbuuuuud! yeah homie thanks for checking it out.

I agree and will likely invest this weekend into a "PH control" kit. I have been trying to go about this with an "idiot proof" approach by using high quality soil containing "ph buffers" which i have learned are rather volatile, distilled water (bottles from the local grocer), which has a PERFECT ph, and disciplined nutes/flush/flush watering, which should prevent unnatural build up.

I am proud to say that these ladies lifted they skirts in the last few days and started showing some pistils!

Will post photos soon!

hey man thanks again for helping out. I had a question regarding how you measure the PH. Since i am using soil i know i need to measure the run off at some point.

I also know that i need my water, mainly when feeding nutes, to be a certain PH.

Do i modify the water PH to compensate for how basic or acidic my run off is?

for example: i am currently about two weeks into flower. I just watered twice and am preparing to feed nutes this go.

I will add nutrients to my distilled water, and then PH test it.

I will add PH up or DOWN until it is around 6.5.

I will feed my ladies and measure the run off.

If the run off is 7.5... would i then add ph down and water with it until my runoff is 6.5?

I maybe be over thinking the situation and it may be a quantified measure ment.

Thanks!

you want pH 5.8 for hydroponic and soiless (peat moss and coco coir) and pH6.5 for soil. to flush water with twice the volume of the pot in pH adjusted water. this should help flush nutrient residue from your pots that may be influencing your soil pH.

I can see by your photographs your plant has grown.

Ha yes! They flowered within a week of 12/12. I now ph using the "analog" kit you use in chemistry class. Taking a few drop, adding indicator and monitoring the color. I was feeding my girls a rather acidic solution.

I am debating starting from seed to retain genetics better. do you prefer any place particular for seeds? And is the idea of a "femonized" seed bull shit? I was told your chance is 50/50 every time.
