Re: First Grow - "Pushing the little daisy..."

Thanks - Atrain

It will be interesting to see yours as well and the difference in yields.

Update on the grow:

Day 25
Light Schedule: 18/6
Nutes: Fox Farms Week 3 Trio

Plants seem to be growing real strong. There are a few spots on a couple of the leaves that are suspect, other than that all is good.

Update on the grow:

Day 30
Light Schedule: 18/6
Nutes: Fox Farms Week 3 Trio

Plants are looking very strong. Began doing some pinning and LST on the Berry Ryder to get some more light down in the canopy. The transplants of the auto went very well and over 2" of growth over 3 days.

Nice looking plants! They are looking a bit dark green with minor leaf curl downward which to me looks like a little too much N in the food.

Also, I would remove the bottom three or so inches because light will never penetrate far enough to develop the buds when Energy could be directed to the main cola.

Thanks man - they have been pretty low stress so far.

When should I thin out the bottom? Its only Day 30. They are autos though so I assume they will start flowering soon.

Update on the grow:

Day 32
Light Schedule: 18/6
Nutes: Fox Farms Week 3 Trio

Not to much to report - ended up doing a PH'd water flush on Day 30 and a dry out day on Day 31. Leaves are looking a bit better.

Also began pinning some leaves up letting the underside get some more light.

Update on the grow:

Day 35 - End of Week 5
Light Schedule: 18/6
Nutes: Fox Farms Week 3 Trio

I have to go out of town for 5 days next week so hopefully they will stay in the veg state until I get back. I bought some hydrospikes off Amazon to keep them hydrated and plate on using 1/2 nute strength in the hydrospikes.

According to the Autogrowers guide its advised to keep them in veg till week 7.

Day 42
Light Schedule: 18/6
Nutes: Fox Farms Week 3 Trio

Back from 1 week away on work travel. Had all 4 plants hooked up to hydro spikes and 1/2 strength nutes. Seemed to be working well each went thru about 2/3 gallon while I was away.

Some serious growth on the Berry Ryders happened which is nice. The Blueberry Headband is about 2-3 weeks away from flowering - I think as per the reviews.

I gave them a good flush with PH water last night.

Day 43
Light Schedule: 12/12 for Berry Ryder plants 1 & 2, 18/6 for Berry Ryder plant 3 and Blueberry Headband
Nutes: Fox Farms Week 3 Trio

I did some serious trimming today of Berry Ryder plants 1 & 2 (the real growers) and Berry Ryder plant 3 and some under pruning of the Blueberry Head band to thin it out a little as the last two are still in Veg.

Hopefully the plants were pruned correctly, they definitely look a lot better. Also got about a shopping bags worth of leaves and clippings. Not sure what to do with them if anything... any ideas?
