Nirvana AK-48 Feminized - CFL Only - Closet - Promix Soil

This grow is about to be the shit.

I am doing a mainlining technique a.k.a. fluxing a.k.a. creating 8 equal sized branches as my only branches for bud production.

You top the plant a total of 3 times and after clearing the extra foliage the end result is 8 large equal colas of bud. Here we go.

Set up:

Lights: CFL 42w bulbs approx: 4 per plant
Soil: Promix peat moss with dolomite lime for indoor, from home depot.
Nutrients: Jungle Juice Grow-Micro-Bloom
Water: Filtered and PH'd between 6.0-6.4
Circulation: One medium fan on 1/2 hour intervals
Humidity: Los Angelas no problem

and of course, Strain: AK-48 sativa

Thanks! Here is the plant now with its final 8 tops (just tiny tips at the moment.) Will flip into flower in 3-7 days when my other plant is ready for harvest and can free up some space for this AK-48

hey make sure you put pic when you flip them. i want see what they plant does being that small right now and going into flowering. if your going to flip it in 3-7 days. i flip mine when its about 2 ft tall. reason i ask.

Here is a small OG plant I'm currently growing. The first photo is day 1 of flower, second photo is 4 weeks later. They definitely will get to the size they need to be. Will keep ya posted on the AK-48!

I started 12/12 as soon as the plant had 8 tops. They were each about 1/2" tall on the first day of 12/12.
We'll see how long each top branch grows and how many total popcorn buds will rest under the 8 large tops.
I'm hoping for:
Tops x 8
popcorn nugs x 32

When tying down each of the four main branches, the center of the plant split. It was quite scary lol. I quickly pushed it back together and wrapped it up with duct tape. Marijuana is a hardy plant, she'll survive!

gotta be careful with that I saw one do that long ago but it was in bloom and it hermied it was an outdoor plant tho

It seems to be growing just fine… I definitely was worried at first but I think it's just one of those things you have to forget about and just carry on the grow as best you can. I'm sure as long as I keep it bandaged it will be fine.

Today I see the first visible pistils on one of the 8 tops. They are about 2mm long, so I will declare this to be flowering stage day one!
