Crop King Seeds - PK & CBD - 3rd Grow - Lady Growing Ladies Journal

:love:Crop King Seeds — PK & CBD — 3rd Grow - Lady Growing Ladies Journal:love:

Growers Mission: "Rehab my brain cognition through the processes of growing green.":thumb:

Purpose: To use natural medicines instead of the high dosage chemical meds to cope with my health issues. :Namaste:

Novice Grower: Under 1 year of lessons learned under my belt but 1 year of dedicated research, product buying and visiting a "misc" grow shop once a month now. I read as many magazines as I can because it fits the lifestyle I live. I'm completely addicted to providing the best care but under a very limited budget. I love the creativity it brings out in me.

Accomplishments::goodjob:
*I built my grow tent out of wired cubes and vinyl from my own fabric collection.
*I have finished 2 successful grows in less than 1 year as a beginner.
*Living off the land.
*I have cut my hospital visits down to once a year — emerg.
*My plants teach me processes that will help me relearn my cognitive deficits since my last brain attack.

Costly Mistakes:
*My last Purple Kush had nitrogen deficiency as I transitioned her too early, her leaves were green, brown and yellow.

Health & Medical Conditions:

Diverticular Disease — Must eat healthy
IBS — Must eat health and stay away from stress
Brain Aneurysm — makes me forget details, distant from my thoughts, anxiety and trouble with language, grammar and focus.
PTSD — brutal abuse as a teen - intense healing for 20 years
Pre-Cancer — Cervix & Colon (high risk strain — biopsies ever 6 months)
Tinitus & Hyperacusis — Losing my hearing
Pre-Diabetic — Inherited, I'm actually in good shape as I have been in physio working on my back and jogging for 3 months now. Running is my passion and I'll do anything so I can live long enough to run beside the mountains. It's an experience I do often, and crave it.
*Do not drink, or shhhmoke for 8 years now.

*best physical trait about myself - I am a retired soccer player and still have the muscles of an accomplished female athlete.

Tech Specs & Plant Details
(please excuse any errors I'm still learning)

1. Purple Kush - Indica 75% - Sativa 25%
2. CB Dream - 80/20%

2 plants — Medicinal purposes only — (target the body, not the mind) :cheer:

Early Veg

Indoor

Name of Plant: Kara & Kris:high-five:

Soil Accessory: Rock - White Quartz Crystal from the 2nd largest granite cliffs in the world. White rocks have been charged with positivity based on the history of these cliffs. Super rare.

Growing times: 18 hr for veg — 12 hour for flower — super important to remind myself

Soil — Not familiar with these ingredients so here is the list.

Promix - "This potting mix is regionally formulated from Canadian sphagnum, peat moss, peat humus and/or composted forest products. Coco fibre, perlite, lime, controlled release fertilizer and mycorrhizae"

10 inch — Self Watering Pot *the best decision I ever made

(2) T5HO LED lights parallel to each other. 1 light used for early veg state. Then turn on second light after the first topping.

Timer settings 18hrs — will switch over to 12 when it's time to flower.

Size of light: 2x 39 inch

Yes, air-cooled during the day, but not at night because it's cooler at night naturally here.

Temp of Room/cab? 22-24 degrees

RH of Room/cab? N/A (Don't have the tools to measure RH but I have a room mister in there to balance the heat)

PH of media or res? Not sure what this means but I am guessing maybe it has to do with the PH Balance of Nutrients? If so, mine is 5.5 ph balance using a colour chart every time for accuracy, transparent dirty orange.

Any Pests ? Not yet, I added hydrogen peroxide before I transferred the seedling into the pot full time. It was added to the very first feeding. One cap full, making sure I do not dry out the roots or damage the growth.

How often are you watering? 1 week now in veg state, with food, I'm sure it will increase once they grow.

Type and strength of ferts used?

Organic
— BioThrive Grow (4 3 3 — 5 ml/litre
— Thrive Alive B-1 Green (0 0 1 — 5ml/litre
— CaMg+ (- 5 ml/litre
— Bio Bloom — (2 3 3 - 10ml/litre

I've got a CBD shark shock from cbd-crew going at the moment. I'm hopeful it will help my sister with her rrMS. It's got 6% cbd : 6% thc and she really likes the feeling from shark strains. I so glad they've been able to provide this type of strain for medical use, thanks for the warm welcome.

I'll be around :nomo:... sooner or later. Lol.

Thanks for sharing your story. When you grow for someone, you become the doctor. With your good intentions and growing ability, you make a huge impact in her health. LOVE your journals, you are so clever with your spacing of your grow space. I have a more inferior grow space but almost the same concept. I'm hooked. Thanks for the help, I know I'm not alone...lol

Week 1 - April 29 - May 5 - Seedling - PK & CBD - Sisters from another mister...lol

Soooo strange and wonderful things are happening.

My CBD early veg has grown and extra solar leaf and is very interesting to guess it's purpose. Will she help or hinder my progress? Who knows, no biggie, just love acknowledging the anomolies as I go. I am only watering once a week so far but they grow like weeds...lol

PK - Healthy as she blows, grows and throws her leaves into the air like she just don't care...lol

More pics to come next week...hugs to no bugs.

Week 3 Veg PK & CBD - May 6 to the 12th - "THE CLAW"

Feeding ladies once a week, they are healthy and happy, posing for pictures and smiling bright. There is nothing to report except to draw your attention to one of the solar panels of the CBD is shaped like THE CLAW. I love it, so unusual but I can't stop staring at it. It's not a disability, it's got to be Mother Natures way of reminding me that nothing in life is perfect, no matter how much I strive for perfection.

Update on my health...I got my first appt to see a therapist to work on my language, math and focus, which is what I lack with this brain injury. I have developed a bit of a stutter on my foggy days because it's so hard to find the words that I want to say. I speak in half sentences often, my friends say I speak in riddles now, but they say it with love. I've got another MRI coming up that is taking a deeper look at the damage that was caused. Once we assess, seeing 4 dr's now, how extensive the damage is, I can start working with specialists and work my way back to...somewhat normal, I was never a normal gal to start with anyways....lol Over-achievers never settle for normal.

In the meantime, I swear by this journal and the growing process in reteaching myself 1. Language aka growing processes, 2 Math aka formulated nutrients and 3 Focus aka daily routines. This is helping me tremendously because I pace is slow and methodical. I make so many mistakes that the plants tell me when I've done something wrong, I work hard to correct them, but sometimes the damage is done. However, I have been growing for under a year and taught myself everything to date, that is remarkable with a brain injury so I'm still happy with my cognitive progress.

The only thing the dr's agree on is that I'm a high-functioning patient with trauma brain injury at an unusually young age. This allows me to follow my inspirations and dreams still, because I still have hope and time. Younger patients have better rates at recovering from this 90% because I am young. I believe that growing green not only provides with the medicine that prevents me from having to take morphine, dilaudid, gabbapentin but it also empowers me to exercise often. I just don't want to become dependant on habit-forming drugs when I can learn how to grow my medicine.

Thanks for reading my weekly journal as I continue to experiment on myself, not to cure me, but to rehabilitate myself and suffer less from TBI. If it weren't for the visits from you guys I wouldn't know if anyone really cared. But this forum of friends is nothing less than talented and karmic. Feel free to reply or give me advice. Just speaking from the soul...Thanks for stopping by...

Note to self, time my grows so I never run out, I am almost out of buds. The drama continues... duh duh duuuuh...HUGS NOT BUGS!

Thanks Snid, that is really cool of you to say that. The meds they want me to take are expensive, habit-forming & chemicals that would give me massive side effects. Unless I'm in the hospital, I don't feel the need for dependence. I am seeking a way to live with my beautiful broken brain, and that is through growing. Everyday I look forward to seeing my plants. I'm so excited in the mornings. Now that I'm locked on to your growing journals, I feel like I have a tutor in a way. I crave the day when a harvest lasts me forever...lol Again, thanks for understanding...

Is the claw reference from a wrestler in the 70/80's named Baron von Rashke? I loved that guy. He used to say 'The Claw is the Claw' in an evil German accent..lol.

Is that two tops at her pinnacle? You could train those both down to the sides. Or you could LST the entire plant now and go I two different directions for your corkscrew. Let me know what option you decide on. I actually just did an LST tutorial in my perpetual journal... Take a peek for some insight. Same thing applies to you plant with two tops, just make it symmetric.
Or you can just stake the stem with a splint type action, basically what I'm asking is what's your training regiment?

KiG :green_heart:cheers

DID IT! watched your tutorial, and this is what I came up with. As symmetrical as I can get it. In case you were wondering my plant is off to the side because of the way the lights are situated. I hope this is okay, it's not as neat as yours, but I get so nervous that I might hurt them. Sooo, what do you think? I've never tried this way before, so my training regiment has been just topping plants. But this plant was already leaning to the side, so I gave it a go. We'll see...
