Here are a few close-ups of the one that I'm planning to harvest tonite.
    This particular one matured faster for some reason and doesn't have as many trichomes as the other five, so I figured why not learn to harvest, trim, and cure with her before the others. Last edited by Cozmo; 10-07-2008 at 04:23 AM. |

So it's been six days since harvesting the mature Mandala White Satin. I ended up just clipping the main cola (all amber) and exposing the rest of the buds to more light. Using the jar/burping method after hanging for a couple days, it's drying quickly, actually almost completely. So I HAD to at least take a sample off the tip.
HOLY SHIT. Clear-headed and an awesome body buzz at the same time. Would be perfect to smoke before goin out anywhere - I would feel fine in public right now, but inside it's comin in waves. Soooo glad to have this strain, and few seeds left too. Hopefully I can be successful trying to clone another plant of this strain.

Sounds great, probably a good thing you left some of the plant to mature more. . .might be twice as tasty. . . Nice job. . .
 You might wanna try slowing the dry a little. . . the longer it takes the better. . . I use the paper bag method prior to jaring. . . just my prefrence. . .

Thanks guys - I harvested another MWS about 4 days ago, currently drying in a paper bag. The final MWS I"m gonna try leaving for another week or so - this one's takin a while to finish - most pistils are still white and the middle of the buds are now purple. The 3 WW are also 1 week from finishing. I'll post pics of the MWS2 after drying.
