Boss's Poor Mans Grow

Wow. I think this cost me 20 for the bathroom fan, 5 for the carbon, and I had the heavy duty screen. One of the reasons i got the fan was the cfm. I needed to remove heat as well as pull through the thick filter. But had I seen that, I may have gotten one just to save the labor :-)

I put in the other lights and more heavy duty poor mans mylar(Tin foil) hehe. I swear these plants are growing more then an inch a day. Except the runt and bushy, they just get fatter and bushier.

Hey Boss what size are those lights,I know you have it in here somewhere but I'm too stoned and lazy to look.

Most of them are 100 watt equiv soft whites, I have one 75w and one 150w in there as well. There are now 14 bulbs in there :-) I think.. Ill count later.

:Yes,14 there are two on the back wall you cant see, those point toward the carmera instead of down. (I just looked again, you can see them)

Sweet, you are doing a great job and I plan on useing your advice when I grow.

Next grown will be much cleaner looking. It's wreck in there with all the wires hanging, but it allows me to move the lights and plants to even up the growth and get them as close to the lights as possible just by winding them up. There are 1x2's hanging from the beams to wrap the cords around. I need to get square pots next time, this will maximize space, and by a few rolls of mylar, then this will look like a real grow :-)

It's hard to tell how much they are growing because I always raise the lights up a few inches. They literally grow until they touch the light and burn the tip off the leaf :-)

I still have no meters, no thermometer, no tensometer, I have been growing by sight, smell and touch :-)

I also added a single galvanized nail into each pot today. Anyone know what that's for?

Have you ever used tin foil in the past? If the light hits it just right you run the risk of burning your plants. If you have a Party Store that sells balloons in your area and see if they have any balloons on sale. Most of them are made of Mylar........ :smoke2:

Ya I understand about the foil, I should use mylar. But honestly, it seems like cfl's dont concentrate light like an hps, so you dont get the real bright reflections, hence I don;t expect to get fat dense bud either. Oh, well, the whole right wall is one long mirror, hopefully that will help. If I add up the lumens now, I think I would be at almost 25000 for about 16-20 sq. feet.

I am so praying that Sativa half-breed is female. That is the most effective medication for me, and all my other bloomers are indica. I think I have 6 sativa blends that are going all 12/12 growing now and about 2 inches tall :-)

Looks female to me. But ive been proven to be a bad judge of that in the past. Im loving the shots. The lanky one on the top left of the last shot is great. I love the leaf composition. What kind of Nikon? Regular lense?

Coolpix 880 (all these shots are on medium res-fine) It has a Nikkor lens and has never let me down. I left it out all night after taking pics of the moon, in the AM it was drenched. I doused it with alcohol, let it dry, and it's still here :-)
