Boss's Poor Mans Grow

you could build an additional section of your room for a mother and keep her vegging and just flower the clones and other females you end up with. I love that idea and I have seen some mothers that are freaking gorgeous. Giant root bases.

I turned up the camera and have photos of 2 outta the 3 others, the runt shows little sign yet, one is definately male, and the other looks female, the runt looks female, but it's not certain. The one I posted earlier is definately female (I turned up the zoom and there is a little thingy coming out :-)

Minor disaster last night, 3 light wire (6 lights) dropped from their new positions and burned 2 plants. It's not bad, but I think the shock will prob set me back a week or so. The Male is coming out today, I will bloom him in a seperate room, I just don;t know where yet :-)

Sorry to hear about the lights. Yeah, even CFLs burn... I would suggest far away in a contained area for the male.

I couldn't find a spot for him, so he got pulled today, RIP :-) I double checked just to make sure and there was no doubt. Still outta 4 palnts i have 3 female, I cannot complain :-) Unless the one turn herm on me from getting singed ... LOL The other 2 left are fine. The male and sativa mix took the brunt of the lights.

Thanks man, I have a bit more now :-) LOL I'm sad that I had to kill him, but, that bastard ain't touchin my 3 virgins! I have 6 more on the way, doing 12/12 along with the 3 moms. Ill start 6 more in 2 months, and try to keep it going.

BTW- I hung the male, can it be used for butter or hash? Or only if I had flowered it..

I need this for about every freakin grow so don't feel bad. The more you grow the more experience you gain but it also makes it easier to be lax on your grow.

Ya I understand about the foil, I should use mylar. But honestly, it seems like cfl's dont concentrate light like an hps, so you dont get the real bright reflections, hence I don;t expect to get fat dense bud either. Oh, well, the whole right wall is one long mirror, hopefully that will help. If I add up the lumens now, I think I would be at almost 25000 for about 16-20 sq. feet.

Correct me if im wrong, but don't mirrors eat light?

If they eat light someone tell me now man! I have no idea, it was a cheap way to make a wall, as it was sittin in my basement and fit perfect.

It's like 5 feet tall and 4 feet wide. I will go down and put up some heavy duty foil now if that's the case!
