From my limited experience, I would say it has a bit of sativa in its breeding, however, the width of the ends of the pan leaves lead me to believe that it is indica dominant.

Also, consider the hoods. Not that expensive.

Ya, I think you are right, they are wide at the ends.

As for hoods, I am trying to figure out a way to do it where I can keep 2 bulbs in each socket. I am gonna have to fabricate something, but I have not found anything around the house yet that will fit the bill.

Thank you!

Re: Boss's Poor Mans Grow

Even a flat, and not angeled, top would reflect much light downward.Youre getting roughly 100degrees of the 360 available from the light so any little bit helps. Even 180 degrees is better

Re: Boss's Poor Mans Grow

Yes, I know you are right, I am churning over it :-) I am thinking a drop hood from the ceiling that can be raised and lowered, but I have to move the lights around, so I will have to make 3 or 4. Of course I could go buy some sheet metal, cut them into round hoods and just tape them to each wire...
I will prob have to do that. I just can't find anything around the house :-)

You know, everyone says "NO light leaks". But what happens to plants when they are outdoors and the moon shines?

Re: Boss's Poor Mans Grow

it's not enough to matter,
same with lightning

Even on the full moon.
Every 28th day ain't nothin' like every day.
Just takes a little longer to finish, outside.

Plants don't use moonlight. Its not a useable light spectrum for the plant so the plant doesn't even notice.

Ahhh, That makes sence... duh..

Thank you!

It is reflecting sunlight, but i guess the reflection changes the spectrum enough for it to be unusable..

Plants can't see green light either. I always thought that was kinda weird.
