I raised both lights. Had to move them like 3 rungs on the chain!!! Its ridiculous how stretchy BB1 is. I took another clone of her this am. Going to eliminate the overwatered ones.

I think I'm going to try white rhino soon. I really wanna have some more of it hahahaha.

Maybe you could tie down BB1 just a little in order to allow the lights to be closer to BB2. Although, since your using CFL's you may get away with allowing BB1 to hit the lights. Just be careful of temps and burning on the leaves.

As for the smell I'm not sure where to point you. I may run into the same problem and am going to try and improvise a small carbon filter. Previously I would cover the smell (if it was too strong) with candles, but that was for one plant only.

A 12" carbon filter was the best investment I have made yet. Lord knows I tried everything I could think of with what I had around the house.

Hey, POTential, I'm using 2x 400w HPS lights now, no more CFLs here...

What is the best way to tie down this plant?

Oh nice, missed the HPS. With that kind of light you probably don't need to tie her down. If you still want to you would want to pick a spot to bend the stem, 90 degrees. At this point you would gently crush the stem between two fingers on all side. This is done to break the inner core of the stem without actually splitting the stem itself. This process is called supercroping and you can see how here http://www.420magazine.com/forums/ge...-tutorial.html . After the stem is nice and soft you can bend it too your will. Remember the plant will always right itself to be facing the lights. Any point you want to bend should have the inner core broken first to prevent the stem from snapping with the bend.

I think I'm just going to let it go... I'll keep raising the lights... seems the most natural way (if there is a such way indoors with hydro).... lol....

You could always go deeper in the res with her. That will give you 4". Just stuff her down and take that bottom fan off. You may need a deeper res though :(

I just raised both lights to their max height. Everything is peachy now :) Less heat on the plants too.

A 6x12" filter with a 4" opening should be fine to filter that space. You can get refillable ones for $50.

I added some new things to the grow, the LA confidential will be ready for ebb and flow soon..

I took pics the other day but never got around to uploading them..

I added some Nirvana's Ice and then also some trainwreck. Doing 3 trainwreck seeds and 1 ice seed. Hoping for a female ice and a male and female trainwreck. I want to breed this one.. I have a feeling I will be wanting more seeds in the future :) :)

Wish them luck! They went into a ziplock baggie with paper towels tonight. On top of the HPS ballast in a cigar box. mmm

i was thinking low water... cuz it did need more... i just mixed up a whole new batch.. ill keep an eye or two on it lol.

or two, lol. I can't keep both off any of these plants. If the watering doesn't help then it's probably more serious. When the plant needs water it points it leaves straight up to funnel moisture to the stem and base of the plant. Only severe dehydration causes the leaves to droop.
