I can give the plan less than 12hrs of light? Like how much less, and how much faster would the plant finish?

if its a boy and it should show sex in 3-4 weeks of 12/12 from seed all is not lost if the smoke the seed came from was good you could flower it out till its packing loads of pollen and gently put a paper bag over it wrap the base stem ,pot and dirt with plastic wrap so you can pick the plant up with the bag over it and turn it upside down or sideways and shake it to release pollen into the bag lift plant out of the bag and save the pollen in a clean dry airtight container

sometimes its easier to collect pollen by tipping plant on an angle and shaking over a large stainless steel or glass kitchen bowl

the latest seedling i did on 12/12 from seed was about 10 inches tall when it started showing sex its in a 4inch square pot dirt am going to cycle this one out whole time in 4 incher 12/12 from seed should give usable bud about 60- 90 days from sprout time easy black out system
two large cartons one bigger than the other cut 2 vents opposite
sides each both boxes inner box vents should be at right angles [ next side aroun box and not back to back with outer vents run stick though both
boxes and tape so both boxes can be moved as one unit place over plant for dark cycle

I'm no where near ready for this but would trimming the fan leaves to camouflage the plant a little better hurt it at all? I will get pictures later this week when a full week of 12/12 has gone by.

i dont want to cut them off, just reshape them slightly..i mean i have Japanese maple trees to camouflage it. But I'm always looking for alternatives.

Its been really rainy here lately, so i moved the plant inside fo todays light cycle, i hung two outdoor flood light CFLs over the plant..I didnt strip anything off the bulbs or anything like that. Is it ok that I used those lights fo the day? With more possible rain in the forcast i may need to use this setup for more than just the day.. will this be bad for the plant?

CFLs are ok to use on your plants. Going back and forth from indoor to outdoor isnt good though.

yea thats what i'm afraid of but it has rained for 3 ou of the past 5 days and i'm worried about over watering

That is the main reason why I rather grow indoors. Because I am in complete control over the enviroment. With your outdoor plants you could have then under an overhang if your worried about them getting overwatered. Or you could just mix in some perlite in your soil to make it drain better.

Im in some MG potting soil that is hydration controlling...supposed to minimize the need for watering., on a side note do the plant still get their right amount of light if its an overcast day?

Theres your first problem....Anything miracle grow is trash for growing cannabis in my opinion. You cant get direct sunlight 100% of the day if your growing outdoors. All outdoor plants get residual light some point during the day. Your plants will be fine if you just leave them outside.

MG works good for plants you want to nute and run. They will pretty much have everything they need until 4 weeks into flowering, then you will need some P, K, Mg and maybe calcium.

Here is my plant after just waking up today. It is day 7 of 12/12... my camera kinda sucks but the second set of serrated leaves is starting to show. Is the plant growing slowly? havent added any nutes, but the plant is in MG potting sil that feeds fo 90 days.

It's a good idea to flush the soil good, then completely flush enough soil to go around the seedling. This will ensure you don't hit a hot spot in the soil and kill the baby.
