Thanks StonerGrower! Yea, I know the anticipation :-)
Well I harvested "Lavender" from Soma Seeds 2 days ago. Thought I would post a few pics. I did not know a plant could smell like she does! ...Like rich lavender poured slowly on a skunk. I have to admit I did not think it would smell this much like lavender. The smoke should be a new experience in the flavor world. Anyway, took her at 72 days and she has quite a few "fox tails." (Does that mean I took her too late?) I'll have a smoke report soon. Until then, the Angel Dust does me just fine. Super strong stuff, I really like it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

....Lavender...
After hang-drying for about a week, I manicured the buds and put them in a paper bag to dry a few more days. Then I will cure start curing them. I'll wait to do a smoke report after about a week cure. It does smell very nice and it's really sticky, too. Lots of nice orange hairs and frostiness to compliment. Has anyone tried this strain before? Peace. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Soma Seeds "Lavender" Smoke Report:
Soma #10 brings together a world of weed. Strains with histories that traverse Afghanistan, Hawaii, Korea, the U.S, and Europe are all melded together in this 3-way cross. An exotic looking strain, Soma #10 develops the darkest purple coloration you can imagine. The color is intense, with the leaves turning nearly to black at the ends, they are so deeply saturated with color. The extra dense buds give off a sensually spicy smell akin to Afghani hash. The high calyx to leaf ratio and the legginess of this plant make for simplified manicuring. While not as tall as the Haze strains, Soma #10 can shoot to tall heights when allowed an extended vegetation period before being placed into the flowering phase. If grown in a sea of green, Soma recommends a shortening the veg cycle in order to control the height. This strain will also do well as a multi-branched plant. Outdoors, this variety can thrive in a most temperate zones, although arid climates known for their rich agricultural promise are of course optimal. Soma #10 has a flavor that is similar to Afghani hash, producing a captivating high that circulates through every chakra. A terrific evening or rainy day smoke, Soma #10 will leave you feeling relaxed and mellow, possibly to the point of sleep ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Chopped her at 72 days. Could have went longer and next time I will. Hung/bag dried for over a week then put in jars to cure. (Curing over a week now) She will stretch..! She taste's fantastic. Her taste is her best attribute, IMO. This is like the perfect evening smoke. The rich lavender flavor dominates and is followed closely by spice and skunk. It screams 'sensual' and 'erotic'... I bet the ladies would like this one. The high is mostly indica (which is what I was looking for) but I have also found that it can lead to bouts of laughter and stupid giddiness. So you can definitely expect a great indica buzz with some trippy sativa fun. Vaporizing this stuff is grrreat. The lavender fills your mouth so richly that one may even have an orgasm. HEeeelllllloooo Friends!
So sorry I've been absent. Life keeps moving me around a bit... This grow room was successfully neutralized since my job likes to move me around a bit. BUT cannabis is what I use to treat my ulcerative colitis so the grow show must go on!...at a time yet to be...um...well....it'll happen soon!
